The food was really excellent and particularly the mutton preparation, as recommended by the Chief Chef. We are Sr Citizens. The Staffs including the Managers are cordial and friendly. We enjoyed their presence and company. The western dessert menu may be improved.

Guests upon arrival are greeted by a camarilla of friendly staff members ready with suggestions and advise. Among this fabilion of cordial attendants, you may be lucky enough to find Soumita Bhattacharya, perhaps better known as the Bengali Tigress of the Service Industry, whose untiring assistance and impeccable attention to detail makes a stay at this Howard Johnson into the world class experience it is. I was especially impressed with her ability to get doors opened and the fact that she provides guests with a WhatsApp number in case untoward incidents should occur even off hotel premises. The service industry as a global whole would improve greatly by copying a few valuable pages from Soumita Bhattacharya book of trade secrets
