Pros: good location, historical building. Cons: Very "tired" hotel, inside with the design of the 90s. Requires repair and renovation. Old carpeting causes coughing. The bed is wobbly, the mattress is not comfortable, looks like a piece of loose paralon. Breakfast is meager and tasteless, kozinaki smells musty, coffee though in coffee pots, but brewed from bags, omelet cold, and some dirty onions not in theme. On the balcony not cleaned cigarette butts, and kettle water from past guests.

Initially we were hesitant to book this hotel after reading few negative comments. So, we booked it for 1 night stay only. And we did the right thing! The hotel is beautiful. It has a heritage charm in it. Staff is polite. While checkout, a hearty luchbox was given as we had to leave early. Location is great! Just opposite Amir Temur square. Many eateries nearby too. Not sure if it will be a good idea to book for a long stay. But, it is a good option for a short stay to feel Soviet vibe.

Spent 3 nights in this heritage Tashkent hotel located right in the centre of most attractions such as Timur Amir Statue & Park, Temurid Museum, Clock Tower etc. This hotel is ideal for a comfortable stay in Tashkent and exploring the city with 2 nos. metro stations located right adjacent to the hotel. Also, red colour city tour buses operate from in front of the hotel. The hotel offers several services to make your stay comfortable and hassle free and a Currency Exchange Counter is located right inside the hotel Lobby. The Reception & hotel staff are quite helpful & polite and are ready to assist the guests always. The continental breakfast served in the Ground Floor of the hotel has reasonable variety and good quality food and provides a good start for the day. Would definitely recommend this value for money hotel for all type of travellers!

Extremely outdated. Air conditioning/ Heating are centralized. In mid November the weather was unusually warm, so I was told to open the window to cool down the room. The water in the faucets ran a rusty brown and no temperature control system.

Huge. Dated russian architecture, it's not cosy. At the side of the square problems with traffic noise. And the windows must be open, bij 30 C, as the "airco" consists of an oldfashioned noisemaking machine which doesn.t produce cold air. Overall; average but make your choice at the backside of the hotel.
