Terrible Experience: Avoid this Hotel at All Costs

I regret to say that my experience at Hotel Touring in Rome was extremely disappointing. On the first day, the receptionist assisted us in accessing the AC, but on the second day, we were informed that all the AC remotes were already in use by other rooms. This forced us to open the windows, leading to an influx of mosquitoes and excessive road noise, making it impossible to sleep.Despite the scorching heat on the third day, the hotel still failed to provide AC remotes. For guests who value air conditioning and a comfortable sleep environment, I cannot recommend this hotel. Overall, my stay at Hotel Touring was marred by the lack of AC availability and the resulting discomfort. It's best to consider other options if these factors are important to you as a guest. Rooms: Rooms are extremely small that you’ll hardly find space to walk in room. Walkability: Very close to train station and many good eating options on same road. Food & drinks: They don’t offer any breakfast at hotel. But you can find few options in 50 meters. Noteworthy details: Rooms without view are so hot because of no ventilation. If you’re claustrophobic the don’t take that room at all.

Super friendly and polite receptionists! Recommended nice places and helped a lot on explaining how to get around. The room was clean. Perfect for a cheaper option hotel in the city centre, everything is super close.

Location is good & this is the only reason you’d go near this place. Staff indifferent & more focused on chatting on mobile. Rooms last touched 20 years ago, bathroom tiny, shower worse, toilet cracked. Aircon not fit for purpose & this was Autumn, imagine Summer. Apparently a 2 star joint & I wonder how it got one of them.

We stayed there for five nights as a family of four. The main advantage of this hotel is that it is literally 5 min walk from the Rome Termini train station. However as you reach the hotel you realise that the reception is on the first floor, but it is open 24H. There is a lift but its only for two person max. The location is fantastic as the it is near the main train and bus station and there is a drinks and snacks kiosk just under the hotel which is open till 2 am. There are lots of restaurants and takeaway shops nearby to suit every budget, including a McDonalds. The room was spacious but the only thing we did not like was that the shower enclosure was too small for even a normal person and there was only one plug in the room for charging your devices. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All in all if you are on a budget this a perfect hotel for you.

Hotel Touring is a two stars hotel close to Termini railway station. Its location is the only reason to select it. Indeed, Hotel Touring is a poor hotel with poor facilities. Breakfast is not included. Upon payment of € 3, breakfast is served in the room: a croissant, a glass of juice and a coffee. No hairdryer available in the room. The box shower is small and the arm shower is not moveable. Wi-Fi is working properly and the staff is polite. No laundry service.
