We were very satisfied with our stay in Hotel Rossli during our recent trip to Zurich. It is a boutique hotel that's centrally located and has easy access to the public transport system. Stadelhofen station is just a 6 min walk away, and there are several tram stations nearby too. We did not have trouble finding decent food options nearby, and the hotel even had some recommendations. The room was cosy and had a rustic charm - it also felt homely due to the well thought out furnishings and use of warm and gentle lighting. Reception was very warm, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a mid-range accommodation that's centrally located. It's located off the main road along a pedestrian walkway though and up a slope so access may be an issue if you're getting there by taxi or have weaker legs/knees (was not a problem for us).

Fantastic room, great location. We stayed in the 6th floor suite with the roof top access. We could not have been more satisfied with the accommodations, location and overall ambiance of the hotel. The room was perfect for 3 and the rooftop deck was perfect for wine and cheese, with a great view of the city. The staff was vey kind and helpful, we could not have been happier with our stay.

We had the attic room. It was really nice although the slanted ceiling sometimes can be a little bit of a head bump. No AC was a little hot in September but was bearable. Has an upper deck with in room stairs that go up which was really nice and had a distant view of the lake. Still nice to go up and just chill out. Was a nice hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay, me, my wife and my 13yo daughter! We got the scenic room, with the terrace, and it was LOVELY. Nice view, very comfortable. Small? I little bit, but comfortable. At city center, we could walk all around and it was very nice. The hostess Elena, what can we say about her... She was perfect! Very kind and helpful, I wish we had more ppl like her around. Thanks for the awesome stay Elena, our family is going to miss you :) We hope we can go back there someday! Note: don't go to the restaurant besides the hotel, the woman that is the manager or owner over there mistreated us, a little bit xenophobic... But down the street, the Italian restaurant? PERFECT too :)

Great location in the old town. My room ( 203) was great- with a big bath. There was no air conditioner, due to the age of the building- but the fan provided helped. The breakfast was fine, but not brilliant. There is a bar downstairs that does not belong to the hotel, which is cute. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive, as are most in Zurich. The main issue is that the hotel is understaffed. It was hard to get service and the staff at reception seemed unenthusiastic and did not have much, if any, local knowledge. Not that helpful.
