I rather liked this property. Though to be fair I like boutique hotels. And this one qualifies. Good staff. Nice atmosphere. Generally a good place to explore the country las city from. The rooftop bar - restaurant is worth a visit. It’s an old building though. Walls are thin. Elevator might be slow. But go. If you like these places this is a good one.

; We had a lovely 4-night stay at Hotel Nelligan. The reception staff were welcoming and the restaurant staff made delicious cappuccinos for us each morning. Our housekeeper, Annie, was very attentive. The location is excellent. We walked to all restaurants and bars, and it's just around the corner from the magnificent cathedral. We will go again!

The hotel is situated in the old town and rooms are elegantly decorated. Most have brick walls. The beds are very comfortable and you find all amenities. The staff is very friendly. However, if you look for quiet rooms, it gets more difficult. The rooms to the back alley are noisy due to trash dumping and emptying of them and kitchen-food smell from the neighboring restaurant. The rooms to the front street are very beautiful and spacious but there is a bar across the street and people gather on the street when it closes at 3 am. There is also a policy that you pay for your stay in advance which I have not encountered so far. There were also constructions going on during my stay, however, I was not affected by it.

Lovely boutique hotel in Old Montreal. Under going renovations, but still promises to be a great hotel. Service was excellent. Love the availability of coffee, tea and snacks 24/7 in the lobby. We visited the roof top terrace and is a great location with great food and ambiance. Had a great poutine and Cesar at the Merchant Beouf.

Thank you to the hotel manager, Shalana, for ensuring our stay at Hotel Nelligan was a great one. We truly appreciate it. Our rooms worked out quite nicely. The newly renovated terrace bar was lovely, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The refreshments in Reception were a nice touch too. It is a convenient location for us when we visit Montréal. Thank you Hotel Nelligan team.
