The hotel is located near Gandhi chowk. You can have breathtaking mountain views from the balcony. The breakfast they serve is also really yummy. Rooms were spacious and clean with all amenities. The only downside is you have to go down via steps to reach the hotel. But overall pleasant and good stay with great food.

We stayed in this property (for the second time in three years) for 2 nights-3 days. Felt comfortable in the property. Owner (Mr. Narinder Kumar) takes personal interest in all the things and all the staff is very helpful and cooperative. We had taken complete package including sight seeing. Driver provided was also very good and knowledgeable. Would like to visit again here.

I stayed two nights here. On the positive side the owner/ manager was very kind and did his best to help. The rooms are large with private bathrooms however we checked a few for mould as this is common in these cold and damp climate. The hot water did not work with a few attempts but no luck. We were allowed to use another shower room. The rooms are light and airy, flat screen tv and gorgeous mountain views. The rooms however need to get a good deep clean and the shelf above the sink in both rooms were filthy. The pathway down to the hotel could use a daily sweep and trash removal. This is your visitors first impression and should be taken care of. With just a few changes and more care to cleaning this place could be a nice budget stay .

I had a night stay in summers. Staff is not professional. They don’t know what to speak with guests. Rooms are Good. But location is far inside the Mall Road. Need to climb heavy steps. Overall a budget hotel. Can’t expect more

We 5 friends had stayed in hotel monal from Feb 14 to Feb 16 2018. Place is good and has very beautiful valley view from each room. Rooms are also well organized so if we are taking 2 rooms they are connected. Dalhousie mall road is walkable from hotel in 5mins of distance where you can have amazing street food. Hotel staff is very friendly and provided good service.
