Rooms and toilet look new and are very clean. Simple breakfast, same food every morning. There is a subway within walking distance of the hotel. The only bad thing is there are not really much shops around the hotel.

The rooms have been modernized and the breakfast is decent, but overall this hotel is not friendly or accommodatin, and you can find better hotels nearby at a better rate (like the Ibis Sankt Marx). This is an older hotel/restaurant that has tried to give itself a progressive, modern look and feel, but its weathered, rigid true colors are revealed once you arrive. First, the hotel claims to be non-smoking, but the "reception" area is in the smoky restaurant/bar. The elderly man who checked me in (and was running the restaurant) was immediately put out when I asked if he spoke English. When I tried to offer that the room had already been paid for on Booking.com (to help him with the process), he held up his hand in my face, as if to say, "please don't talk." To get up to the room by elevator, you have to put your key in a lock and turn it. The hallways are kept dark and a bit ominous. Again, the room itself was decent, and - once inside - I settled in and facilities worked well. But I had brought a salad with me for dinner and had to go back downstairs to ask for a fork. Big mistake! The same man who checked me in told me flat out, "No," when I asked. I said I would bring the fork back right away and, looking around the restaurant, there were plenty that were not being used. (One couple were the only restaurant patrons). Again, he said "no" and then handed me the restaurant menu, saying I could use the fork if I ate in the restaurant. He then tried to ask if I wanted "liquor" and said the word a few times, as if that would entice me more. Maybe he thinks all Americans are drinkers?? When I shook my head to say that I didn't want an alcoholic drink, he threw up his hands in disgust and took the menu away. I went back up to my room feeling like I'd misbehaved. I didn't want to leave my room after that, for fear of what else might occur. Thank God I was only there for one night! I could not wait to get out of there the next morning. This is pretty indicative of the attitude my husband and I encountered in Vienna both times we have visited. They are elitist and unfriendly for the most part. Not a city to visit if you enjoy engaging with the locals and prefer a friendly city.

I visited this small and nice hotel five times with family between 2015 and 2017.it was a nice ,calm ,clean hotel to use in long week ends in Vien ,in a good location with connections with city center. On my surprise, visiting it lately i was totally unpeased about its transformation. Probably from the wish to squeeze more money , they invested in ugly rooms buildt above the former inside yard parking , which they sell on booking coom as fitted for 3 persons. Is just a normal sigle room in which they squeeze a double bed and a single bed in a 20 m2 area, in which 3 aduls for sure cannot fit without hitting eachother when moving. Looks like a crowded campus bedroom . Not even close to a 3 star hotel as they claim being, more like a student s hostel. So no way! I am so upset as they do not make any awareness to possible clients, i come hooked by nice memories but big dissapiontment.

This clean tiny Hotel 3 stars has everything you need when in Wien. Rooms are tidy and new, it is near the tube station and buses as other means of transports. All the waiters and people of the hotel are very kind. Only negative thing : the room lacks of a fridge. It is a pity if you want something fresh. Good quantity and quality of the austrian breackfast. To the next.

We booked a room and arrived there quite late, after 22h. We parked our car into the hotel parking and while we were getting our luggage some person shouted at us like we were thieves. It was the person at the reception. Then he pretended he coulnd't speak English, only answered us in German, really impolite and agressive. He made us pay some 9 Euro extra for the parking, although the booking included free parking. I will make a complaint about this rude old man.
