Over all well experience, the staff was kind and helpful, only problem we face was wifi connection, leave key at reception they will keep ur room clean while u back hotel. Dont be hesitate for asking fresh towel or anything else . Hotel is old but rooms are clean . Also if u call direct they negotiate price . Rest all experience was good.

we stayed 4 nights in hotel Jan palace in September 2019.most of the online portal rated this as a 3 star property actually it is a lodge or home stay .one can rate it in 3 out of 5 in leh .even the costliest hotel in leh may be a 3 star property.we got it for 1200/-.there are lots of properties in the range of 1000-2000 in fort road,changspa road,or tukcha road and all are clean and good to stay.may be because of the weather,people and water quality most of the hotels rooms and toilets are kept clean and it is adequate to stay .Jan palace is located 5 minutes away from leh market/mall road on zangsti road.. the hotel is not professionally manged but staff is good.i think 2 to 3 people are managing all the show.parking available for 4 to 5 vehicles . there is one apple tree and they allow to pluck and eat as much you want.

Friendly and helpful staff, whom make you feel welcomed. Location is great- close to main market, restaraunts and tour operators. But the rooms are unkept and untidy- stained beddings, poor maintained rooms, uncomfortable bed and beddings that needed laundry. Note that there is a bike hire shop directly under / next to the hotel and the noise from they starts at about 4am at full throttle until about 10pm. Before booking, check the room. No need to use booking websites- just rock up there, trust me its cheaper also. They do make the best Kashmiri tea in Leh. If they can revamp the rooms, do some deep cleaning of the rooms, they will have s great place

Hotel is centrally located.each place is closer.next to Mall Road.Room are good and staff is coprative.Food is great.They also arrage inner line permits as well as car rental with good price.over all good place to stay

Rooms are neat and clean.food was tasty.centrally located in main market.closer to Shanti stupa,Leh Palace,main market,they have free WiFi in all building.they arrrange Taxies for Local seight seeing in resonable prices.Front desk are good to help for local information.they to kashmir Tours as well.
