Memhet made every part of this trip unforgettable. He helped us organise tours, the most fantastic Turkish bath, dinner recommendations etc. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. We were very happy with the overall experience. Thank you Mehmet and your team!

Smallest room in Istanbul.

Arrived by taxi from the airport. 2x friends travelling for a 4 night stay. Nice welcome from staff on arrival at the hotel & immediately offered refreshment. Entrance clean & welcoming. Situated on a very noisy one way street. Pretty much traffic 24/7. Short walk to all the main sights & transport links to those further away. Ideally situated with lots of shops & restaurants nearby. Had booked an economy room. So wasn't expecting much luxury. ( Room 204) However the room was the smallest room in Istanbul!! More like a hostel. Barely big enough to be classed as a single room let alone a twin room. Two small single beds & a wardrobe. With about a foot & a half between them. Kettle with paper cups on a tiny table with TV above. No English channels on the TV ( except BBC World news) Safe in wardrobe. Bathroom was tiny. Not really much bigger than a cupboard tbh. Very claustrophobic & taking a shower was not a comfortable experience. Only had hand luggage but even by leaving clothes in the case the room felt cluttered. Room cleaned & fresh towels daily. Breakfast was adequate but a bit uninspiring. No toaster. Extra charge for omlettes. Food we had outside the hotel was great. There is a restaurant on site but we chose not to use it. Would visit Istanbul again as an amazing place & fell in love with it. But would not stay at this hotel again.

An enhanced experience of my time in Istanbul

When I read the previous reviews I was a bit sceptical but thought it doesn’t matter if the hotel isn’t up to scratch I am only staying a few nights and mostly I will be out sightseeing. How wrong was I ! Right from word go the experience was wonderful. From the cleanliness, top of the range shower pressure to the customer service was just spot on. I met Temur at reception upon my arrival and he upgraded myself and my two siblings to a family room with a balcony without my asking. The room was spacious and clean with cleaners in and out everyday topping up fresh towels and bedding for a restful stay, only downside there was the room was a bit dated but that isn’t a major issue. Temur was a god send always happy to go the extra mile. The two young bell boys Bilal and Ilyas were so good and always had a warm smile and even with a language barrier they tried their utmost to be helpful. The breakfast is not all that great and I was disappointed as I am used to Turkish lavish spreads but the hotel was pretty modest with breakfast, but there are enough cafes and restaurants to try out with decent rates. Travelling around to all the major sights is a ten minute walk away, the markets are a ten minute walk in the opposite direction so you get the best of both worlds with the location of the hotel. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants along the way so you are spoilt for choice. Overall, definitely the place to stay for my future visits.

Not a good choice

This hotel looked good in the brochure and on walking through the door it looked good but that was short lived as we were greeted by Mr Grumpy (Timur] who clearly did not want to help us. Once checked in we were taken to our rooms which were in the older part of the building. Two of the rooms were adequate but very tired. The third room smelled of damp and damp was clearly present and it took us two days before we could get the room changed. The breakfast area was good and the food good but limited if you did not fancy something spicy for breakfast. The rooftop restaurant was good with a fair variety of food and a nice view across the Bosporus. There was a good member of staff here - Sulesi - and definitely worth a mention. Paying for the food was expected in cash. The hotel was central for all attractions most of which were within in walking distance. The hotel was just about adequate.

We was there in September 2023 .This hotel is conveniently situated by all attractions as well as waking distance to Egyptian spice bazaar as well as the grandbazaar.many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity.and a close by to tram ,and metro station .. don't need to take any expensive taxis. Blue mosque and Hagia sofiya 10 mins walk.sulemaniye mosque 15 mins walk. 10 mins walk to all ferry connect.basically convenient place to stay. Breakfast was great buffet and plenty of choice.newly renovated dinner area in basement.rroof top restaurants was very nice reasonable prices. Same as any outside restaurants Renovated pleasant décor in reception area. however can't say same for the rooms Got a very tiny box room like economy room initially.with AC rattling all night After speaking to manager who was reasonable got to choose a little bit bigger or upgrade to standard room for a fee.  The other room was a little bit bigger we accept it .it was clean and a bit better than what we had before. We had a good stay after all. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Sunah the lady that kept our room spotless clean each Day.Ahmed manager was always available to anything we needed.Tiamor ,Unur were Always happy to help on reception to guide you for and plans to visit sites. Cem Samad was always happy to help with anything that needed from carry our luggage to and from Room.  Big shout out to all staff they make this place worth staying at.definetely recommended this Hotel .
