We spent 3 nights at the hotel which we had read about in the Daily Telegraph. The location is perfect to visit the main sights - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern - as well as the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. the T1 tram is a 5 minute walk away and takes you to Karakoy/Galata within 20 minutes. The welcome from the staff was very friendly and throughout our stay they were all really helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble from drinks at all hours of the day including sundowners on the rooftop terrace. We stayed in room 205 which faces onto the street and is very spacious with a walk in closet including safe and mini bar. Enough space for a long weekend's clothes. The bedroom is large with a comfortable double bed, large sofa, armchair, TV, desk and chair. The shower was good but the water had a tendency to overflow a bit. Our friends were in 206 which looked similar but also had a small balcony onto an internal space. Breakfast consisted of fruit, yoghurt, nuts, cheese and meats, boiled eggs, scrambled egg, sausage, toast and pastries, fresh juice, tea and coffee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. It's very comfortable without being luxurious.

A lovely hotel, close to everything that you have to see in Istanbul. We had a great few days, walking everywhere, being woken by the call to prayer from the Blue mosque. All of the staff at the hotel were wonderful and very welcoming. We got some great recommendations and advice from them. Would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again.

Superb location for walking to every site in Sultanahmet. Hotel staff always pleasant and helpful with solid recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Transfers seamlessly unfolded from/to airport. Rooftop terrace has spectacular view of Blue Mosque especially at night. Room 401 has distant water views and beautiful window boxes of geraniums.

Wonderful, boutique hotel with a knowledgeable, friendly staff who bring charm and character to the hotel. It is very centrally located so we could walk everywhere. We enjoyed the tea that was available in the afternoons after a full day of touring and walking The hotel arranged our transport to and from the airport, which made it very easy and comfortable for us.

Just had a great 4 night stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. It is in a great location close to the tram and all the main sights are in walking distance. The hotel decor is charming and the staff available 24hrs to assist you. They are full of useful information and very friendly and courteous at all times. The breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice and very authentic. Special praise goes to Ata who runs the bar on the roof terrace - the best Negroni’s ever. The roof terrace is a wonderful place for sundowners, the view of the Blue Mosque is superb by daylight and enchanting by night.
