I've traveled with 4 girls this summer to do volunteering. We have ask them how to buy a train ticket and he have sold us a fake one shamelessly in front of all his staff. I don't recommend you this hotel, they will try to trick you in any way possible.

Large and clean room, we'll maintained at a fair price. Location is great, in a quiet alley of the main bazar, and close to the railway station (follow the signs from the main road). Food was good, but unfortunately no restaurant - only room service.

Stayed in Sonu guest house 30 seconds down the road, paid more money than a room at gold star hotel for basically the same room, if not better, nicer hotel staff, cheaper food which was very nice. Have to walk down a dingy alley to get to the hotel but once your inside you realise the walk and money is so worth your stay! Defiantly recommend if your looking for a cheap guest house in main Bazaar.

Это была первая самостоятельная поездка в Индию. Как и большинство туристов, мы решили остановиться на МэйнБазаре. Мы обошли около 10 гостиниц, они или были в нашем ценовом диапазоне и ужасными или вполне приличными, но дорогими. Мы с мужем уже отчаивались, но набрели на Hotel Gold Star Inn. Как обычно сначала посмотрели номер, все понравилось, чисто, теплая вода, кондер, чистое постельное белье(что редкость), мебель более менее приличная, даже какой-то небольшой дизайн интерьера есть. Сам номер, конечно, маленький, но это ерунда. И в итоге цена нас обрадовала. На Мэйн Базаре советую эту гостиницу, в следующий раз только туда.
