The Hotel Colosseum was a GREAT place to stay. Very clean, great breakfast and an amazing staff. From the moment you step in the lobby until the time you leave, the staff and conditions are great. The location is perfect for exploring and many different restaurant choices.

Really enjoyed our stay, found all staff delightful. Concierge staff very knowledgeable recommendations for visits , getting us taxis etc helped make our visit even better than hoped. The rooftop bar is great with fabulous views of the city. The only negative was the rather small room, but as we spent very little time in the room it did not deter from the excellent service we enjoyed. Hoping to stay there again. Paula & Glen.

My wife and I spent three nights in Rome and had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Colosseum. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Tomasso behind the front desk. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, telling us about the area, mapping out how to get to various places and giving us his restaurant recommendations. Every time we saw him he asked how we were doing and if there was anything he could do for us. The breakfast was great and the staff in the dining room were very attentive and friendly. Our rooms were very comfortable and had a great view of the city. Everything about our stay was even better than expected and we will gladly stay here again if we return to Rome.

Ideal location from which to explore Rome's history

The Hotel Colosseum is ideally situated for a trip to the historical city of Rome. All the places that most travellers interested in the history of The Roman Empire are all within walking distance although you can also jump on one of the several 'Hop-on-Hop-off buses that tour the sites. There are also several restaurants within the location of the hotel. Also the view from the rooftop gives an ideal spot to identify where you are in relation to some of the sites to visit. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful and will give advice/directions without making a fuss.

Highly recommend this property. We stayed before our cruise and liked it so much that we booked when we returned for one night after the cruise. Excellent location, close to termini to allow you to walk with luggage. Desk arranged transportation to airport at a very reasonable price. Staff were fabulous.
