Have you ever wondered why no one at this hotel responds to or acknowledges negative reviews. Think about it! I used to refer family and friends to this property when it was a Sonesta property. After the hotel was acquired or branded Best Western, "not so fast, my friends." Friends insisted on staying at this hole-in-the-wall property as they had enjoyed staying there before, and I will make this review short and sweet: The elevator(s) are out of service since hurricane damage several years ago, and they are not "temporarily out of service"; ask one of the actual condo owners residing on property. The restaurant has been closed for numerous years, and it is not "under renovations"; ask one of the employees. Lackluster or unfriendly front desk personnel and housekeeping services. Let's get to the point: Stay elsewhere!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. Being nice to the people at the front desk goes a very long way. We knew to ask for a room on a higher floor with a view. Done. We asked about a late check out. Done. We asked for local restaurant recommendations. Done. All very gracious and professional. Some info. The elevators can be slow. One of four was not working during our stay. The rooms are cleaned every other day. Not a problem because you can ask for items to be restocked and it is done quickly. Parking is problematic, but that's true everywhere around here. The location is great. The view was great. The hotel was great. We will stay here again. P.S. When you check in, ask for Gustavo. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent resource for the hotel and the nearby area.

Location - very good, hotel needs significant refurbishment. The location of the hotel is perfect in coconut grove- very close to the restaurants and marina. However , the rooms are starting to feel like they need significant love, the carpets do not look clean and inviting. Big issues - at peak times it takes 5 plus minutes to get a lift (only 2 out of 4 working) and the internet is abysmal - to the extent that you shouldn’t expect it will work (the tv is similar)

Stayed for 2 nights during our Miami trip. Booked through Expedia with Miami Vacation Rentals. Room was very spacious and in good condition. Well equipped with Kitchen area and washing machine. Complimentary bottle of wine. Very clean throughout. Outdoor pool area was very nice with good views. No restaurant or bar in the hotel which was disappointing but I get the impression that a lot of units are rented out through different companies. We really enjoyed our stay. Great location to explore in Coconut Grove with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The front entrance was absolutely horrid. There was dog feved everywhere and it went all in my shoes. Soooo disappointed considering all the hype about this area and neighborhood... I expected much more considering the area I'm on and there's NO BEACH anywhere to be found.
