It had been a while since I was last at the Holiday Inn Prague but I quickly remembered why this hotel disappoints. First issue and the main issue is a stupid system with the hotel drop off where Taxi/rideshare are charged a car park fee for dropping off or picking up. Now this had been a problem on my previous visit but on this occasion it caused me missing my train as drivers kept cancelling on the app and finally a driver came around on the side street and explained why the previous 5 drivers had cancelled. It is beyond belief the hotel inconveniences guests with either a policy that is not clear or is changed from time to time. The reason i say that is when I was there in 2022 I remember asking for my driver to be released from car park and the receptionist said taxi/rideshare did not have to pay. In any case it is outrageous. The hotel rooms are okay and the restaurant is great but I do not understand why IHG says you can use the reward vouchers at the property but the hotel does not accept. With the addition of issues of safety around the hotel in the winter with uncleared frozen ice and a lack of care of the water on the floor around the reception I would hope that it will not take a serios accident to attend to these problems. I wrote to the hotel 6 months ago to address the issues I am still waiting for a response but in any case the fact that I rebooked was my mistake. It will take soe major improvements for me to return.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I can say: This is the best Holiday Inn I stayed so far, very modern, new and everything is so clean, I was really surprised, I never stayed before in a Holiday Inn like this one, looks a 4 stars hotel. Room was so bigger and amazing, Housekeeping service was good, breakfast was amazing, very completely and many options to eat, and staff was so friendly, specially one lady I think she was on training but she was very helpful and nice and the breakfast chef, she made for me the best Omelette I ate!!! We ate one night at the restaurant and also the food was great, service as well. The guys from reception was very helpful always and attentive. Also is very close to the metro station very well communicates to the city center of Prague. I will definitely come back to Prague and stay at this hotel. Thanks Holiday Inn Prague, keep going. 5 starts!!!! 👏🏻

Third visit to Prague, first time at the Holiday Inn. The check in was swift and courteous, we arrived just before midnight, due to delays galore, trains planes and cars, sorry we are English! We both found it very, very hard to find any “faults” with this hotel. The only observation made was that the toilet seat was not soft closing! Always catches the wife out! The room was a good size, with quality fittings and furniture. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. Fridge, safe,iron and ironing board in room. Cups and saucers, kettle and beveridge ingredients, fresh milk was available from the bar, when we wanted a hot drink in the afternoon, after returning from our explorations. There is also an ice maker on the 5th floor. The three lifts were all working, we waited no longer than 20 seconds for one. We were bed and breakfast option, and again we were not disappointed. Hot options included, sausage 2 different options,bacon, eggs/omlettes/scrambled eggs.beans,mushrooms. Toast/bread/cossionts,cereals,jams,fruit,pan cakes. Tea,coffee, fruit juice etc. Something for everyone and throughly enjoyable it was. Wi-Fi was great and free in rooms. Saving the best till last ! THE STAFF. From the reception desk, the breakfast staff and chefs, cleaners and the numerous staff you don’t see behind the scenes, thank you so very much. Your thoughfullness, knowledge and professionalism is a credit to you, which makes the Holiday Inn, Prague, a superb hotel. Finally, a very special word for the bar and restaurant staff. SIMPLY THE BEST we have encountered in our 38 years of travelling.Fact. They made us both feel at home, with a fantastic can do mantra and courtesy and professionalism personified. Management are very good and are very,very fortunate to have these people working for them. Whatever amount your staff are paid, double it !! Finally,finally! The nearest underground station is 300 metres away. Uber/Bolt etc seem very popular apps to have. I still think of hailing a cab, as a man in a bowler hat simply raising his umbrella in the air ! But what do we know ? Would we stay at the Holiday Inn, Prague again ? Definitely YES!!!!! Thank you all, and have a Merry Christmas and a cracking 2024. Robert & Sandie.

Lovely hotel, good location, cozy rooms, friendly personnel. I would like to thank Housekeeping team (Ljuda took care of my room) and Anastasiia from the Reception team. I had an issue with my flight delay and Anastasiia was very kind, helpful and professional to accommodate me. She is a gem to the hotel!

I would have given more than 5 stars if available This is my preferred hotel while in Prague. Easy access via metro to and from city centre. All members of staff are a valuable asset. Thank you to all. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Was recognised as a IHG Platinum Elite member and got an upgraded room on the executive floor. Room was clean and spacious with all amenities. Breakfast was more than plentiful as was lunch and dinner options. The hotel has been fully refurbished so you cannot fault it. As always very highly recommended
