Nice place, did have a problem with little insects in the living room. They kept crawling on the end table, probably came in from the patio door.

I'm a Platinum Elite Member and always give IHG hotels 5-star reviews. Not this time, unfortunately. A few real problems with our stay at this hotel. We didn't have the internet at all. On Monday, April 15th a tech person came to fix the problem and said we had no internet and he couldn't fix it and he would discuss it with his boss. Nothing happened on April 15th. On Tuesday, April 16th I saw the same tech while walking to the pool and asked when he would fix our internet. He said, yes, he would discuss it with his boss and fix it. Nothing happened on April 16th either. On Wednesday, April 17th my wife and I just gave up and accepted that we weren't going to have internet at all during our stay. When I checked out the woman at reception acknowledged that there had been a "ticket" for the complaint and that she would discuss it with the manager. Nothing happened there. Having the internet is essential nowadays and we didn't have it once during our stay. But it wasn't the only problem. I waited some 20 minutes to see the concierge on April 15th because of the $20 show coupon I was given when I checked in. When it was finally my turn I discovered the coupon was only valid for a few shows, none of which I was interested in. When I said I would buy tickets at the venue she told me she could get me the "concierge discount." It turns out the "concierge discount" was the price of the ticket (plus the show's usual service fees, taxes, etc) PLUS an additional $14.11 per ticket ($28.22 total for my wife and I) service fee charged by Vegas.com. Not only did I not get the "concierge discount" I paid $28.22 more than I would have for a show that was only 1/3 full, if that. She definitely wasn't working in the guest's interest. Finally, the room: the mattress was so sunken in it hurt my back. And there's no door to the bathroom at all so there was an inability to be "modest" when taking a shower. The bathtub is so deep that if you have any mobility issues it's difficult to get into. Not a great experience. The last IHG hotel I stayed at in March this year I gave a 5- star review. They deserved their high score. This hotel deserves its low score --- and I gave it a two-star instead of one star because of its location within walking distance from the Strip.

Messed Up Booking Ended Up Okay

Unit with pool view that was confirmed had no view. We gave up a possible room with full view of the Sphere and instead got nothing. They moved us and it ended up just okay. Balconies in general don't have great views and ours was small. Nice location near smaller casinos with great food! Several pools to choose from. Overall .... a good stay!

This is our 4th time of visiting Las Vegas and the first time at this resort. This resort is an old apartment complex that Holiday Inn Club Vacations took over and appear to have done little to since then. It has a run-down appearance both outside and in our ill-equipped apartment. Tired furnishings and minimal kitchen equipment add to the appearance of an unloved resort. The dishwasher was so smelly that we did all our washing up by hand. Cobwebs adorn our balcony that has a view of the front entrance of the fitness centre. Every flush of a lavatory in the adjoining apartments in the building could be heard day and night. If someone had a shower in the adjoining apartment it sounded like Niagara Falls. Obviously no consideration was given to soundproofing when the resort was built. This also is emphasised by the fact that planes taking off from Las Vegas Airport fly so low over the resort that you can see the pilot in the cockpit. Don't worry, they don't start taking off until about 5am! This Resort is surrounded by brand new high rise timeshare apartments with all the trimmings run by all the big names. Take your pick of a run down resort run by HICV or somewhere brand new. Also note that with something like 650 units on site, the very small restaurant onsite with about 20 tables will struggle to cope when the resort is full. I have reviewed this resort as an Holiday Inn Club Vacations member.
