Stayed for 4 nights as taking part in the Berlin half marathon. A good base and found the transport system to be very efficient. Hotel was right by a tram stop and only a 5 minute walk to a train station that connected us with the airport. On arrival we were greeted by Kerem. Throughout our stay he attended to us very well and would always make a point to find out about how are day had been. All staff were polite and helpful and very good at speaking English. We opted for the 'greenstay' option as we did not require bedroom cleaning. We received free drinks tokens instead so it was nice to relax and enjoy a drink in the hotel bar. Room very clean and comfortable.

Perfect hotel for a few days in Berlin

I stayed at the hotel for three nights. Throughout my time there, from check-in to check-out the entire team were quite excellent. The staff are friendly, polite and extremely helpful. In addition, I did not have to use my poor German as most of the staff spoke excellent English. Thank you to the entire management and staff for a great stay. I'll be back!

Quite a lovely hotel by the looks for the price, the tram stop just outside the hotel which is very convenient as it goes to Alexanderplatz, close to central Berlin. Location is a bit run-down, but it didn’t bother us at all! So many little cafes and shops down the road. Staff were very lovely and accomodating, despite we were deaf British travellers. Thanks so much! The only problem is that the housekeeping stopped coming to our room after 3 days, and we saw that the “do not disturb / come in to clean” hook thing was gone so we took it up to the receptionist who promised they’d sort it out. But unfortunately, nothing was done and we put up with no more housekeeping for the rest of our stay (7 nights)

We booked to stay here whilst on a short break to Berlin, the hotel was a little distance from the city centre but it was not a problem, the trams stop outside and run frequently. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were very modern and comfortable, definitely worth recommending.

Our group of 10 people held a 3-day meeting at the Holiday Inn Prenzlauer Berg in March 2023. From top-to-bottom this hotel felt professional, comfortable, and friendly. Starting with the guest room - everything just works the way you expect. Power outlets right on the desk where you expect. A bedside master switch to turn off all the lights. A bathroom with all the right creature comforts. Blocking curtains that actually keep the room nice and dark. Quiet - it's hard to hear hallway or neighbour noise. My only plea might be for a few USB ports on the desk as most business travelers have a host of devices to charge every night. Breakfast. I have stayed in dozens of European hotels over the years and few manage to hit the sweet spot of value and excellence. The members in our group agreed that the breakfast was extraordinary in quality and very reasonably priced. The wait staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Meeting room - we reserved the Helmholtz room for smaller meetings and the Kiez room for our larger meeting. Water and coffee/teat were supplied at a reasonable rate. Everything just worked - a projector displayed a nice large image which all could see, lighting was easy to control. It would have been nice to have a few more power outlets but we had enough to get through. We opted to purchase our own lunches and there are half a dozen eateries within a few minutes' walk from the Holiday Inn's front door. Gym - most hotel gyms leave a lot to be desired. The Holiday Inn in Prenzlauer Berg has most of the key items: natural light, new equipment, water, towels, and cleaning supplies. Two large windows look out on the street, and workouts here were a pleasure. Value - the room rate was considerably more affordable than other Berlin hotels and the neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg is full of interesting things to do and see. Staff - All the staff were friendly and responsive. Jana Lau in the reservation team stands out in particular for friendly service, timely response, and competitive pricing. It was a pleasure to hold our meeting here.
