This Holiday Inn is by far my favorite of the three in Bangkok. Normally the perk that I value the most is suite upgrades as IHG Diamond. Unfortunately at this Holiday Inn they do not upgrade Diamonds to suites as a matter of policy, which is a bummer. But at least when I asked, they were honest and upfront about it so fair enough, unlike Holiday Inn Sukhumvit which tries to make up excuses and lies to guests to deny upgrades. One of the reasons I feel very positive about Holiday Inn Silom despite them missing on my most important consideration is that my upgrade was to premium room which is not a suite, but could *almost* be considered a suite because the walk-in closet is huge and even contains a desk and chair. So it's as close as can be to a suite, without being a suite. The lounge at this hotel won't be confused with InterContinental but it punches far above its weight considering the price range and the brand. The lounge was very spacious (unlike the Holiday Inn next door to InterContinental at Chit Lom station) and did not feel crowded. There were cocktails available which is something that some hotels far more expensive don't even have, such as Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but the choice was impressive such as teriyaki salmon so clearly the hotel is not cheapening out by offering vegetarian versions of many dishes. This breakfast is actually worth paying for - it's not rubbish at all. Last but not least the service was noticeably above average everywhere in the hotel from various staff: lounge, reception, restaurant. Bottom line I can highly recommend this hotel and the only thing preventing me from being overwhelmingly positive is if they gave suite upgrades to Diamond guests when available, because many other hotels do so in Bangkok so they are not being as generous. It is the one thing preventing me from being a more frequent guest but I would have no hesitation returning once in a while.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was amazing. All the staff were very helpful, polite and always smiling. The Concierge Yoyo…was absolutely amazing and always went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed to make our stay memorable. He has the most amazing personality and is definitely in the right career choice. He was always able to have us laughing before sending us on our way. We would definitely recommend everyone to stay. It was so clean everywhere you looked, the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, the air conditioning was amazing, the bed super comfortable. Pool area was very clean and comfortable. It was close to a lot of activities…Within walking distance and when it seemed a little too far, taxis were reasonably priced and I recommend everyone to experience the Tuk Tuk!!!! To all Staff at the Holiday Inn, thank you so much for all the amazing memories and the great job you do 😃 Rita & Colette (Marie Nicole) 😂

We had stayed at Holiday Inn Silom before and had enjoyed their good services and warm welcome. We were 4 travellers in two rooms. The rooms were quite comfortable and house-keeping was fast and efficient. Reception staff and Concierge were absolutely supportive and helpful at all times. Their knowledge of the city and their attentive disposition made our stay so pleasant. I know there are many staff we can praise, I managed the name of "Yoyo" who helped us with maps and directions. The breakfast staff are just out of this world, looking after us all with a smile. The cafe staff were also to be praised for the warm and excellent service. We mention one lady, Sawanee, with whom we exchanged happy sentences in Spanish and we are sure she gave us her best. The whole group was quite impressed with the cafe staff. The management was of high order with members always present - well done. There was also that smiling and obliging security guard who nicknamed me "Papa". This time, additional to all tours, we enjoyed Songkran for the first time, a refreshing experience ! It is impossible to mention everyone who gave us an overwhelming service with a smile so a BIG THANK YOU to All. We are left with only one choice - to come back to Bangkok, Miguel Andrade and Gang

This hotel is including to section. Old part and new part Both section facilities are acceptable but very friendly behavior of staff is very attractive. Very good restaurant with different kind of international and Thai food. This hotel is in the silom street and it very easy access for tourists.
