Fantastic resort. I can't believe it started in 1947. Good maintenance, staff care and fantastic tasty food, outdoor and indoor play area for children and adults to enjoy playing, refreshing to hear birds chirping and stream noise in the morning. I have stayed in many places in Kodaikanal but staying at this place was an unforgettable experience for me .

The resort is beautiful n a very pleasant ambience with nature intact .breakfast and lunch are provided and Mr Arul took good care of us and all our needs were well taken care of .its safe to go as a family to stay and the indoor games keep the kids going .

We (two families) stayed in this resort from 4-7 May 2024. This is an excellent resort for Families with a wonderful ambience and a good quality vegetarian Food (didn't try Non-Veg) that's so homely. In Kodaikanal finding a vegetarian restaurant (Buffet) with such quality is next to impossible. Chef Azees and Alucious were so friendly and prepared good food for us. Rajendran was helping us with room service & Housekeeping and was prompt in responding. Mr. Arulprakash, GM of the resort who is so Humane with his approach made our stay comfortable making us feel being in a home away from home. This resort is there in Kodaikanal since 1947 located @3km from the Lake. Rooms are in contemporary british style decently renovated. Indoor & outdoor games are available. Ample space for walking too. We enjoyed a lot. Parking space is more than enough and one can forget about finding a nice & safe spot. Opportunities for improvement are Cleanliness of wash rooms a bit more & having filtration for bathing water as sometimes its not that clear. Overall the stay was good and worth the money spent.

Our stay at the Holiday Home Resort is a memorable one. The place is serene and clean. The property is highly maintained and has an indoor and outdoor play area which makes the resort itself a good place to stay in and relax. They serve delicious food and the staff are very hospitable. Special thanks to the GM Mr. Arul Prakash for making sure that we have a comfortable stay. The excitement of waking up every morning, listening to the stream that's running through the property and seeing the bisons closer is indescribable. The enjoyment is more when the stay is longer.
