Unfortunately located right next to a bar/restaurant/karaoke venue that plays music so loud the walls shake. The sink did not drain and there was no show curtin so the bathroom is more of a wet room. The location is surrounded by office buildings so not very interesting but only 10 minutes walk to the lake. If you then walk all the way around to the northern side of the lake you can find restaurants and places you would like to spend time. On the positive side the staff were nice and the breakfast had a good mixture of dishes

Reasonable hotel Good - location, perfect for exploring the city by foot - a good solid breakfast Bad - don’t get rooms on the first floor facing the street. The traffic noise is awfully. Truly awful. The building next door hosts a disco, you might as well go and join them!

The best part of the hotel is its location. Walking distance from good eateries and bars. Also very close to the touristy places like the cathedral, prison, lake, train street. The breakfast spread is typical Vietnamese; so if you’d like to enjoy a local meal, go for it. Coming to the room, was a let down. It was a room with three beds on the third floor; no windows so no cross ventilation. Was pretty cramped for the three of us.

This hotel is in a good location but on a very noisy junction. It is French colonial so no double glazing. We had two rooms one which was noisy due to the road and another which was at the back of the hotel so should have been quieter but we heard music from the next property until late. The breakfast was fine and we enjoyed the proximity to the sights. The staff were friendly.

French style hotel, quite old but functional. Strange smell in the hotel. Our room was a smoking room but they moved us to another room without any hassle. Breakfast is truly awful. Very noisy location but Hanoi is crazy busy so that’s to be expected
