I frequent Madrid and surprisingly, Hyatt Regency Hesperia has come up to more than an excellent experience. I used to stay at the Park Hyatt Villa Magna decades ago and continued to do so till it became a Rosewood Hotel. No that I have nothing terrible to say about the new management but in comparison to my surprise: 1, The rooms are bigger at Hyatt Hesperia 2. The amenities are befittting a 5 star hotel or even more. 3. The staff are very helpful, hospitable and take personal interest for every guest's need. 4. The lobby is huge to accommodate check in and check out guests without disturbing your peace. It is never crowded in the way it has been designed. 5. The lounge for World of Hyatt Members is open till 9:30 in the evening. Food and delicacies galore. 6. Price in comparison for those not wanting suites are affordable which several guests told me. 7. Our suite or family room could accommodate ball room dancing, connected to a twin room for my daughter with views of Paseo Castellana. . 8. The best location or walking distance near Calle Serrano or the Golden Triangle. Above all, the homey atmosphere is always there. After decades of knowing Madrid is a second home for me and family, I thank a friend who told me about Hyatt Hesperia. Mr Igancio Gutierrez, the GM, is a professional a la Swiss educated hotelier who used to be at the Park Hyatt Villa Magna after the transition. He is always around to make sure all guests are look after. The guest relations ladies especially Constanza is another dedicated loveable lady you can run to. We will stay loyal to this hotel! FOR YOUR MONEY'S WORTH THE HYATT HYSPERIA IS WORTH MORE THAN ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!

We absolutely LOVED this Hyatt! The team is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating! The Regency Club had a delightful “taste of Madrid” every morning and evening. The location was perfect for us. We were close enough to walk to and from the Historic City center (we got at least 12K steps a day) and also within the “modern” area. Our only regret was not booking it longer! We will definitely return.

The Hyatt Hesperia is a well located hotel. It is easy to walk to the museums and restaurants. The staff is wonderful and exceeds expectations.

Stayed here for six nights for a business meeting. Restaurant breakfast and lunch were very good and staff were great. Bedrooms at the back look out on a brick wall and were very dark. Sheets are SO rough and coarse - surely you can buy softer quality! It is a Hyatt after all. Other sad thing is there is a picture of a terrace and jacuzzi but it is not available to every guest only to those in presidential suites. Maybe they have softer sheets too? Don’t have it on your website if not available - also sadly no pool and arrangements with another place to use their poolwere not free - 18 euros! An OK stay but not close to any major sights.
