This is a great hotel. It's very light and modern, with very friendly and helpful staff. It's not massively close to many attractions in Berlin, but has a tram stop right outside, and a metro station just a short walk away, so it's not a problem. There are some shops nearby where you can pick up drinks and snacks, and a couple of eating places - but not many, so we tended to eat in the main part of town before coming back to our room for the night. Breakfast was fine - typical continental fare, and plenty of it. The tables could have been kept cleaner (you're encouraged to clear the table yourself once you're done, but then you're relying on a member of staff getting to that table between patrons to clean it), and the stools to sit on weren't terribly comfortable, but perhaps that's to stop people lingering! The room itself was light and airy, modern, and quite spacious. Being a little further out of town, there wasn't much noise at night. Overall, a great little place that I'd definitely stay in again when I return to Berlin (which I plan to, as I thoroughly enjoyed it!).

Had a great 3 night stay, with a metro stop right outside the hotel it was easy to navigate around Berlin. Room was clean and functional. No air conditioning, however you can ‘borrow’ a fan by leaving a deposit that you get back once your return the fan. The included breakfast was a bonus to start the day! Would recommend :)

I booked non smoking room and king size bed for me and my pregnant wife but unfortunately I get twin bed and the smell of the cigarette was very bad and strong when I asked the reception to help us they don't even show 1% of care and humanity, at 3AM in morning we checked out because we couldn't sleep because of the noisy and cigarettes smell.

Unsanitary. Bed bugs.

My husband and I slept here for two nights on a school trip. We woke up covered in bed bug bites. My husband had over 50. When we searched the bed, we found it was absolutely infested. We found even long-dead bugs. I had to leave behind 350$ worth of clothing. The front desk was unapologetic and rude when we brought this to his attention. His response was “If we knew there were bed bugs, we wouldn’t have rented you the room.” I should hope not. I am unimpressed with not only the unsanitary conditions of the hotel, but also the way this hotel dealt with the issue. Unprofessional. If I could give zero stars, I would.

My friend and I stayed here during a four day visit to Berlin and we were really happy with our stay. The staff were helpful and pleasant, providing all the relevant information we needed on arrival. Our room was very good - clean and tidy with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. Unfortunately we were at the front of the hotel so there was some noise from traffic at night but this can't be helped in a large city! The breakfast provided was excellent and service was good. The only negative aspect was that there was no air conditioning and it was very hot in Berlin during our stay. The location is excellent with a tram stop right outside the hotel and a U-bahn stop just a 10 minute walk away so everything was easily accessible and we had no issues travelling around the city. Another plus is that it's located right were the Berlin Wall was situated and there are lots of interpretation panels with fascinating facts. Also, if you are there on a Sunday, the Mauerpark Flea Market is right next door and across the street! Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend it.
