My husband and I, and another friend stayed with this family for a week. We could not have been more welcomed and looked after, and we soon felt very much a part of this delightful family, and so well fed and cared for. The house is quite luxurious with all amenities and is so clean and well kept. We were sad to leave, having felt we had made some very good friends in this special place.

Myself + wife and my two kids stayed in this home stay from 7th march untill 10th March - 2015. We chose this location as we wanted to stay nearby kuttipuram. The host Mr Sidque and his wife are fantastic and we felt like they are our exteneded family. Mr Sidque's wife is excellent cook and my wife liked her kitchen and she learned lots of recipes as well. Kids also enjoyed the place and the food. We required customized food and it was provided with super quality. The room where we stayed is having 2 beds and some space around having attached bathroom and separate dining area and huge sit-out. place is very seren and is green as name suggests. Mr sidque is a gentalman and is very helpful. We also enjoyed the company of their two daughters. I will definitely visit this home again during Nov-dec time period next year. simply amazing and super experience. Mr sidque also arranged a small trekk nearby "adiyanpara" with his Friend Mr Madhu and we had a great time there as well.Kids enjoyed the trekk and swiming. Must visit nearby places are -rubber plantation near by his property then Collnys plot -man made teak planation , then Poonthnam Illyam etc. We also visited Guruvayur temple (around 50 kms). Overall full packed stay with fantastic food and quite place.

Maintained by Samna and Siddique, Greenhouse Homestay is as homely as homely gets. The couple occupies one of the two bedrooms in the house, and is open to hosting men, women, couples and students from all nationalities. Samna is a prolific cook and keeps an excellent kitchen. She is an authority on Moplah cuisine as well as Malayalam fare, and is open to teaching the curious the basics of these fares. Siddique picked me up from town and took me to Greenhouse. He is also generous in offering rides to the bus stand / railway station / town centres.

Not easy to find but this house is a really calm and clean place to stay. We enjoy the amzing food cooked by Samna! The two child are really cute and nice we have a lot of fun with the little one and played cards with the other. No hot water in shower but they made some for you if you need it. You can stop here without hesitation!!

I've spent 10 days at this lovely tucked away home-stay and the time just flew by. The host-family (Sidique, Samna and their two kids) is fantastic, they took me in and made me feel right at home while still giving me all the privacy I wanted and assisted me in every way possible, always doing their best to ensure I had a great time. The Green House is situated far away from the tourist masses, but there is still a lot to do and see in the area (I've had some amazing treks in remote areas of the close-by Western Ghats, together with a fantastic guide supplied by Sidique). I've really learned to love the easy-going lifestyle of a small tropical village. The house itself is great with a beautiful terrace for hanging out in the evenings. It is kept immaculately clean and is well equiped (shower, internet, tv etc..). Samnas cooking was superb, healthy (a lot of the vegetables come from the organic garden) and varied (during my ten days not a single meal was repeated, including breakfast!) I can highly recommend this place!
