Room booking rates were less due to online booking (GoIbibo) & as because of online booking the rooms were more than below stand

My room no. was 304. I wasn't aware that Go Ibibo booked rooms are the standard rooms at Green Chilli, I will say it was not even standard, it was below standard. If I would have booked direct - then they would have given me better rooms. I initially thought that I would take some photos of the room, but later on I didn't take. 1. The bathroom had a tap where the hot water was a central supply. The shower did not had the mix hot & cold water supply. 2. The water was not clean for bathing etc. 3. The room had small tiny cockroaches. 4. The bedsheet & the pillow covers were not at all neat & clean. 5. The hotel room (room no.304) overall was more than below standard category room with long time no renovation done it seems. I will never suggest people to book these rooms - though the booking amount via GoIbibo was comparatively less, but I felt it would have been better to book direct for the other better standard rooms available.

pros: good safety measures after COVID accessible to toto stand, central market, liquor shop staff are very friendly very good and homely food walking distance to central office and library cons: need some maintenance the room I stayed between 24-25 Sep, room no 202, local market is getting closed by around 9pm

I made a sudden plan for a Solo Weekend trip to Shantiniketan, & GREEN CHILLI was referred to me by a local of Shantiniketan. They made me feel comfortable & make my stay lovely, will go back again to them. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a triple bed actually two rooms interconnected. Rooms could be more spacious.location maintainance housekeeping is good but best part is food. Very good tasty food with economy. Loved the property and advise can stay here as visva bharati is just 1 km away.

Very bad .....running tap water is always dirty... with full of iron...in full year....but restaurant food quality is almost up to the mark...so pl. think before booking the hotel..next time..at present this Hotel is under renovation..
