This place is far from Ooty town which is good considering the traffic, noise and filth of the town. Well maintained and the food is reasonably priced. Not all rooms have a view which could be a disadvantage. I visited in May and the rooms were hot in the day as they don’t even have a ceiling fan.

A perfect getaway to rejuvenate yourself amidst the lap of nature. The view, the calm, the serenity among the hills,trees the early morning and evening chirping of birds is exquisite. Away from the hustle and bustle of city, this property gives a wide option with numerous themed of bungalow type stays. The property manager Mr. Krishna is always keen to address all your needs and yes all throughout our stay, he really took good care of us, a real gentleman I must say. The staffs are very caring and attentive. Overall Global Village Ooty kept our heart and eventually we have to visit again.

The rooms were clean and hygienic. The view from the rooms of valley was amazing. The manager, Mr. Krishna and whole staff is very polite and helpful. Restaurant service and food quality was amazing. Special thanks to Mr. Radhakrishnan, who was our driver for the trip, as he was very patient and polite and went out of the way for helping my grandmother. Had a wonderful experience.

We booked this resort for a long weekend and I must admit that this is just not a resort, but a second home in the queen of hills, Ooty. The place is little far from the city ~10km but an absolutely right choice if you want to feel the calmness of hills, beauty of nature, lullabies of chirping birds, soft cool breeze, mesmerizing sunset hues and excellent service. There are several tea gardens at a walkable distance to get in and enjoy or take pictures. Since the resort is away from the city and at a higher altitude, it is surrounded with scenic views and velvety green valleys. Krishna ji as a hotel manager is the guardian of the place, extremely cooperative, understanding and cheerful person..Also Krishna ji speak Marathi very well which is very healpful, he guide us places to Visit in Ooty. Krishna ji very polite & caring nature. The staffs are at your service with utmost sincerity and diligence. Their sense of duty is just impeccable and that's what made us feel at home. The food at the restaurant is very good and they take care of any special needs you might have. We stayed in Norwe Castel & white house. the rooms were spacious, clean and maintained with hygiene. They provide complementary bonfire with barbeque on request, depending on the resort occupancy. It was a delightful and relaxing stay. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the service :)

The stay was ok. The view from the Resort good .the cottage design was good but was very old structure and needed a revamp. Food was average and quantity less and prices high. The ambience was not great as there was a lot of construction happening there.
