We only stayed for 3 nights as part of the stopover. Room is big and clean, breakfast was just average. Everything was fine until the last night of our stay. Our flight next day is early morning so we had to leave hotel around 6.45 am. I went down to ask reception if we could get breakfast to go at this time but been told breakfast start at 6.30am. We do realize that but did not want to rush eating in 15 mins. The girl at reception told me to go and speak to staff in the restaurant myself as it's their responsibility and not her! I then went to speak to F&B and been told I have to speak to reception! Came back to the same girl at the desk and she had to get Duty manager to speak to me just to arrange breakfast to go in the morning! I also asked for shower cap and been told someone will send it up to the room but no one came up and had to phone to ask again. Next morning no breakfast pack prepared for me and no one at the desk knows anything about this after speak to 3 different staffs including duty manager!

I had booked for an accessible room since my son is on a wheelchair. I had made the booking 1 month back. Availability was confirmed by hotel many times. But on reaching the hotel, I was told that the accessible room is not available. We were denied the booking. There was no personal communication from hotel that room wqs not available on that day. Had they communicated before, I would have avoided the travel and planned for an alternative stay. Even after raising the complaint, there is no personal communication till this date except for a routine email of apology. Travelling 300 km up and down in the middle of the night with my wife and son who is on a wheelchair is no fun.

I'm very happy that we stayed at this hotel. Both the red and green line metro stations are just 15 mins away. It was easy to get a taxi outside the hotel and the bell desk staff were obliging and arranged for a car at very reasonable prices whenever we needed one. The old souks are at a convenient distance from the hotel. I looked forward to the breakfast each morning as it was really very delicious. The hotel staff were very good. They provided us with lots of water everyday. The room was alwyas very clean and toiletries replaced each day. I even had a card and a delicious pastry when I got back to my room, late on my birthday, which was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this hotel.

So the hotel is worse due to management which has no idea what customer service is. Also mentality of the hotel management points to preference to mint money from customers rather than offer exception customer service. We booked a room with 3 occupancy and paid a premium over double occupancy at the time of booking. Room provided had very small bed where three adults could not possibly sleep by any imagination. On asking for extra bed for the third person to sleep we were asked for an extra charge of 60 dhiram per day. We insisted when we paid a premium for adding 3rd occupant to the room what does that mean!? Do they expect third person to sleep on the floor. Usually room with three adults include a big king size bed or a two queen size beds or has a sofa bed/extra bed but management could not understand this. Also my father is a stroke patient so the hotel offered no help to us to get our luggage taken to room by bell boys. Staff has no manners what so ever. Also the staff starts calling you from 10am to check out when there’s still some time left. Rooms are basic. Food is bad for the price they charge A disappointment in every sense

We stayed 5 days at Sheraton Bur Dubai and there is only good things to say: the staff are lovely , the hotel is just wow and the room is clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. I would like to thank all the team! Especially Mr TULSI ( house keeping) and ABHISHEK ( Hotel entrance ) they do their job perfectly. Thank you again for the warm welcome and to ask if we need anything. There was this guy at the entrance ( a black guy) im trying hard but can’t remember his name though. He was simply amazing. Very nice person and always assisting with a smile. The breakfast was very good! Free shuttle to Dubai mall , to kite beach and outlet. Most friendly and helpful staff ever. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. We really enjoyed our time there.
