A fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. Cristiano on reception greeted us on our arrival with a warm and bubbly demeanour. It felt like he went above and beyond in providing advice with do’s and dont’s in Rome. E.G. what to expect to pay for a cab ride from the hotel to the Vatican etc as he methodically went through the map presenting to us the sites and cultural experiences at the doorstep of the hotel. He added access to our key cards for the gym on the 1st floor of the hotel. The room was clean and well presented. The mattress was difficult to get comfortable on and me, a side sleeper, really struggled for that first evening to get some rest however when we spoke with Cristiano the next day he arranged for two mattress toppers to be sent to the room alongside the assortment of pillows which we had ordered from the fantastic “pillow menu”. The cleaning staff were brilliant throughout the stay, it seems at this hotel your room can be visited up to 3 times by the cleaning staff. Once, to clean the room throughly/change the sheets etc, second, is then visited by another “sorter” for lack of a better word whom places your pyjamas for example in a neat pile on the bed or arranges your jewellery on the desk etc. It was a nice touch. The third visit then involves the “aqua” I.E. Water delivery! We found no issues with this and appreciated the care in which they placed in ensuring that the room was at a decent standard. After the long walks from site to site within the city itself it was so lovely to return to the hotel and relax in the bar where Ivano, the fantastic bar man was there to share his skills in cocktail making. I personally really appreciated his old fashioned cocktail and his sunny disposition. Ivano and Cristiano really stood out as fantastic staff members and credit to the management of the hotel whom have clearly laid out the standard which they wish to achieve in service to their guests. All the best to the staff at the Grand Palintino. Thank you for making our stay in Rome memorable for the right reasons! P.S. Breakfast is fantastic.

Stayed here many times and the Staff and Service are great. Lots of space to relax in the Reception and Bar area. Really good Breakfast selection but I miss their Pancake making machine.... but you can still get pancakes. The location is perfect, The Colosseum is just around the corner off via Cavour.

Great hotel and location. All staff, especially at reception, helpful and very obliging. Rooms nice sized, our bathroom was a little small but had all necessaties. There is some work being done on several floors, but did not disturb us as we are early birds. Would definetaly recommend.

I had a brilliant stay at this hotel. It was so lovely and clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was fantastic. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Its in a prime location for the sights but very quiet

Stayed here 4 nights for Ryder Cup. Perfect location, 5 mins walk to Colosseum, Roman Forum and train station. Rooms were good size and modern. Restaurant and bar was good, didn’t have breakfast as we left early each morning Great Italian restaurant next door to hotel.
