WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. We were stranded in Chicago after missing a connecting flight and booked a room on the app with our points as loyal Marriott members. We checked out at 9:00 a.m. the following day for a 10:20 am flight and used the complimentary shuttle. We later received an email at 5:17 p.m. from the general manager Jason Mashni that stated we had checked out at 4:13 p.m. and had left water running in the sink area near the bathroom. We were deemed responsible for damages to the carpet and room below and charged for it when we did not turn water on, leave it on, and were already checked out with the cleaning staff on our floor that morning. Marriott corporate was unable to help us as this is a private run hotel within the franchise despite our complaints and created a dispute. 0/10 experience.

This is not a bad hotel. It is fine. The rooms are ok, and the staff was very nice, The bathroom was really outdated, but fine. The rooms were average sized. We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t advise about that. My biggest complaint is that the room was $200 for a very basic room. There was little value for price. Please know that they charge $20/night for parking which is unbelievable for a Fairfield Inn by an airport.

I truly enjoyed my stay. My room temperature was comfortable and cool for the hot summer days. Also, my room was very clean, comfortable, and fresh. All of the amenities were available in my room. The swimming pool was open from 6am to 11am each day.

I am going to start with the good: Lobby and breakfast area were spotless Breakfast attendants were constantly cleaning and replenishing Bad (mostly minor aesthetic) This hotel appears to be in need of an update; the hallways were mustard mustard yellow. The curtains in our room were worn out (some moth holes) The rod for adjusting the curtains was covered in dirt.

The hotel itself is good (unless there is no hot water like we had). Comfy beds, tiny TV, nice furnishings. Breakfast not special, but lady in kitchen very sweet. But the staff! Oh my...we must have encountered six people in our two different stays. Not one was welcoming at all. Not one recognized us as loyalty members. Not one was helpful in any way. Surrounding by at least 3 others Marriotts and Hyatt and Hilton-there are too many choices to settle for this. If you ask for a particular room (as I did) be prepared for your request to be completely ignored. Go elsewhere-you'll be much happier.
