We have been there 3 days as a couple. We have got a room on the 5th floor very noisy because the isolation of the hotel is very week and we heard everything from the highway. Well we were upgraded to room with bath on the 1st floor but unfortunately the windows could not close properly because they were broken and damaged. We asked the reception to send someone to repair the windows because its very cold as the cold air comes in from outside.. no one cames because the maintenance does not work in the weekend time they said... The bathroom was not clean 100% and after the daily cleaning we did not receive 2 bottles of water as it should be normal. The service from the lounge bar is very poor and the bartender did not want to serve my husband saying the bar is closed however she served one of her friend and after my husband saw this, he received his beer as well... Very bad experiences in a 4 stars hotel.....we left with a big disappointment

Very good location for the airport. Room spacious and clean. Helpful staff at the desk, especially Hamza. Nice foyer area. Only minor complaint was that room key stopped working and had to get it reactivated.

Staffs: 5* No matter staffs of front desk and restaurant, all were helpful and attentive, especially the male staff (with brown color skin) served at the restaurant (breakfast), he remembered me usually has hot water for the tea, he brought one for me next day when i sit down. Besides, i needed hard copies for my PCR test result for boarding, the front desk staff was helpful to print it out for me! Breakfast: 4.5* Various choice and refilled always, ham, sausage, eggs, breads, cakes, cold cut, cheese, juices, fruits...etc, would be 5* if changed a bit for everyday. Because i stayed here for 4 nights, 99% foods were the same Room: 4.5* I stayed for 4 nights but with 2 different rooms (535 and 534)! Room were spacious and cleanliness. Maybe under epidemic, no once time toothbrush and toothpaste provided, but still provided shampoo and body wash. Please be reminded that the room face to the main road/highway will be a little bit noisy if opened the window (535), but u wont hear anything if closed the window! Room 534 faced to inner road, so, still quiet even opened the window. Location: 3.5* Because the hotel locates near to the airport, just 12 mins to T4, and there is private parking too, if not first time to visit Madrid , i definitely recommend this hotel and i must return back for sure!

Rooms not sanitised properly, unethical

I worked here on a temporary cleaning assignment and I was appalled by the standards. We didn't have time to sanitise the surfaces or toilets properly, we were told to put the remote back in the paper bag with a sticker saying sanitised! The agency have then made excuses not to pay the cleaning staff. Overall disappointed, for such a lovely looking hotel! Wouldn't recommend to families or people still concerned about Covid.

My Wife and I are regular guests at the Exe Madrid Norte. Every time we stay, we are amazed by the friendliness, professionalism and duty of care performed by all the staff there. In recent months, the hotel has had to deal with many challenges, as have many other hotels....but thankfully the Exe Madrid Norte has stayed open throughout the troubling times of covid 19. It looks like they have managed to keep their doors open only as a result of good planning, with the inevitable trimming down of personnel and facilities and a large amount of hard work. I can’t praise the staff enough for their dedication to their job and their attention to detail. The rooms are always spotless and very well maintained. During our recent stay, we experienced a total dedication to duty from one of the members of staff there, called Laura. Snow brought havoc to Madrid during the storm Filomena. The hotel was cut off by the snow, which meant Laura was the only member of staff on site to singlehandedly run the hotel for 3 days. Her actions were exemplary. She deserved a medal for her actions over those few days! When the weather eased....and help did finally manage to get through to the hotel, Miguel, the manager and his team did a fantastic job, above and beyond their job descriptions, to get the hotel accessible and working as normal again. Many thanks to them for helping us all get through that very difficult weekend. We highly recommend the Exe Madrid Norte for its comfort, location, cleanliness and friendliness. Although there are minimal staff there at the moment and facilities are limited due to covid 19, rest assured the guests are taken care of with the utmost courtesy and diligence. Paul & Rima Brown
