This is the worse hotel experience I've ever had.. This is place is dirty and unkept ,. There are strangers ( non hotel guest) constantly walking around the hotel and property at all times of the day and night.. I believe there to be a lot of sex work going on at this hotel ... despite being told otherwise the hotel never lock the doors requiring a key to get in ... at one point me and my family came down to the lobby while both of out room were being cleaned, while sitting in the lobby , i attempted to use the lobby restroom when n guy leaving the restroom begin to make remarks to me and eyeballed me constantly, keep in mind i had said nothing to the guy at this point , the guy walked down the hallway constantly locking eyes on me and gesturing that he had a gun ,, i did my best to keep his attention on me as i knew my family were still sitting in the lobby,, thank god i he finally walked out the front door , i immediately told my family to go back upstairs so that we could leave although i feared he was still around , i came back from my family house who we were in down visiting for a wedding , and immediately check out early because i was afraid for my life... i tried to contact Houston PD and tell the front desk attendant who said he'd look at the camera but nothing was done or communicated to me about it .... this place is horrible!! don't let the seemingly fresh paint on the pictures fool you as they did me , go anywhere else !!!

As a diamond member of Choice hotels you look forward to accumulating point which can be used for your stay. Which is what I did only to regret wasting my hard earned points. At five o'clock I received my first boom boom boom knock on my door after just checking in at 3pm. Upon answering the door they saw who I was and preceded to knock on the door next to me. These knocks with various strangers continued until 1:30 am in the morning so I go zero sleep. Being a single woman traveling alone and constantly hearing police knock and having to keep getting out your bed and tell them you have wrong will make you feel unsafe. I even brought it to front desk attention and there was nothing he can do. I have a 19 hour drive ahead of me and needed my rest so the thought of literally have to pay for another night after already wasting my point is very upsetting. The good thing is you can tell they have did some renovations to the rooms. You just have to get pass the weed smell in the rooms and I suggest you travel with a weapon or another person so that you can feel safe.

The sheets were dirty, both beds had yellow stains on the sheets. I requested for clean sheets and the management was very apologetic. One of the clean set still seemed very dirty. The hotel seems to be under renovation, but it's not very clean. I had to look for another hotel for the rest if my trip.

No breakfast, no laundry, no fitness room, and city closed pool on june 22. They are renovating the place say it will take 3 months. I don't think they could pull off that magic trick. I spent a lot of weekends here years ago and this was very disappointing. The gentleman at the desk says he didn't know the pool was closed.

From the moment you walk in you can tell the place is old and in need of renovation. Only one elevator works. Carpet on the upper floors is faded. Breakfast is typical hotel fare. Bed was very hard, I tossed and turned all night as I couldn't get comfortable. TV selection was good.
