We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel very good. Parking on site, which is chargeable but not overly expensive considering you’re in the city. We didn’t have breakfast but had an evening meal which was very tasty. My only criticism is that there is no A/C. The room got quite warm and the window only opens a small amount. I wouldn’t stay here in the summer.

Nothing 4 stars about this hotel really. Threadbare and stained carpet , creaking doors and very noisy from the road below. Don't stay here if you want a good night's sleep. The food was just okay, The Ivy house restaurant across the road or the Cat and Cage pub 2 minutes walk away offer really great food and better atmosphere. Also a €10 parking charge.

This was a wonderful stay for my first international trip! All of the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. My flight was early so my room wasn't ready yet, I was able to order tea and wait in the lobby. I had a room with 2 twin beds, which was perfect for me and my daughter. Loved that we had a mini-fridge, the shower was amazing, the towels were extra fluffy. Also right next door to a store for essentials if necessary and across the street from a few great restaurants. About a 15 minute Uber ride from Center City or a 45 minute walk for those adventurous types.

May 2024 The hotel is Beautiful! Wel organised and and very very clean! We were welcomed and the staff were really friendly. The room itself is what you see on the photos. Beatuifully decorated and tidy. The bathroom was clean and shiny. The water pressure of the shower very fine. Service is a big 10 points!!! Friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was delicious. I booked a twin room - staying with my daughter for 3 nights. There are a few things that made my stay only 2 stars. 1. Beds Being a taller lady (177cm) from the Netherlands in, compared to the locals, the single bed was too small and jiggily like jelly, and I felt like I was falling out of the bed after every turn. I would recommend that the sizes of the beds are mentioned on the website somewhere. 2. Temprature Situated on the top floor and only minor ventilation (window opens a gap of 5 cms) the room was hot and stuffy. Especially at night because the heaters were still on. A fan stood in the room as we arrived however this did not provide much relief in the night because it was very loud. 🥵 Sleep and the quality of sleep is so important. The above 2 points weight very heavy in my review. 3. Ventilation The extraction fan was there for the show I think. Did not work (or the switch was nowhere to be found). Everything was wet and damp after a shower. 😔 This is a personal review. Unfortunately I did not sleep very well 3 nights and I am sorry to say that this will be the reason why I will choose a different hotel when we come to Ireland again. My daughter slept very well. She did fit into the bed better and was not bothered by the heat off the room.

Checked in and discovered I had been given a key to an occupied room (with someone in). Moved to my own room (which in itself was pleasant), but the room was facing the main road outside. Road noise was like there was no window actually there. Previous night I’d stayed on O’Connell street and they fixed that with additional sliding doors on the windows. No air con and the room was pretty warm even at end of April, also breakfast the plate warmer did nothing so plate was stone cold, as was the food shortly afterwards. Convenient for client meetings near airport, but I don’t think I would choose to stay again based on my first experience.
