Worn Down. Just an extension of Atlanta's ghetto. Folks. They moved the Braves stadium as far north as the could for a reason. The area has just become an extension of Atlanta's ghetto, unfortunately. The hotel is within a couple of blocks of Braves stadium. And because of the demand for a hotel within walking distance to the stadium, they do not keep it up. Water stains throughout the interior of the rooms and trickling down the hallways. We had unremovable candy glued to our tv stand. Peeling "popcorn" ceiling near the bathroom. Pealing wallpaper all throughout the room. The hotel breakfast is 20 dollars--and they'd like a tip for being rude at for serving yourself slop in from their buffet. The staff did not acknowledge us at check-in. I don't know what else to say about the hotel itself--aside from what you find outside. Outside of the hotel, undesirables are lingering. Homeless. Beggars. Drunks. If you can drive in for a game or concert, do so.

Spent 3 nights at the hotel for the Braves opening weekend and could not be happier. We wanted close proximity to the game, comfort and a clean room and that’s what we got. When we first arrived there was a issue with shower in the first room that we were in and they immediately moved us to and other room and gave us a daily food credit to use all 3 days. My boyfriend and I commented multiple times over the weekend on how comfortable the bed was. We were in room/suite 215. No musty smells or ac issues at all. All of the staff was very professional from the lady working the front desk, I forgot to get her name but she was petite with long dark hair, to the server, Shantaya that greeted us every morning for breakfast. She was a ray of sunshine. The first day we were there the manger was in the lobby greeting all of the game folk and made us aware they had free hotdogs, Monster drinks and Primes to grab and go. They had a Braves photo are set up as well. We are long time Hilton members and stay at new and older hotels. This is a older hotel but we could not tell by the quality of our room. We will gladly stay there again for another game soon.

I had a wonderful experience at the Doubletree. Spacious suites, comfy beds, convenient location, and delicious cookies! Desirae was beyond helpful. She is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and was able to quickly provide the assistance I needed.

Pros: Location to the battery and galleria Large room size Bed was comfortbale and clean Large tvs Friendly staff Cons: Hotel is very dated. Furniture, carpets, mini fridge, shower all are in need of an update. Stains on the couch, furniture all chipped, mini fridge would not cool, no shower pressure and had to wait a while for hot water on the 8th floor. Carepts coming apart. Really did not want to take my shoes off. Noise--the interior of the hotel is one big atrium and so all the noise from the ground floor bar travels up to the rooms. Had to listen to people partying after 11. The lobby and hallways were very hot. Felt bad for the guy at the front desk who was sweating. 30$ for self parking is a rip off and had no idea about that charge until I got there. There was not even an event (like the Braves game) going on. I'm a Hilton honors member and feel like many Hilton hotels are going down hill.

Originally my party was placed in a room where the pullout was not functioning. It was after midnight when we realized it so we ended up having to move rooms in the middle of the night. Prior to check out while we were sitting in the second room, maintenance/housekeeping walked into our room. It was a male and when he saw my husband he left out. We finished grabbing our bags and eventually headed out. When I received my bill we had smoking charge on the room. We called and spoke to a supervisor who said she can’t reverse the charges because they believe they have evidence SMOKING occurred in the room and I would need to talk to the head of housekeeping at a later date. Well that day never came and my husband and I had to fly out to get to a funeral. I’m still going back and forth about the charges as well.
