Michael was awesome to work with. I made the mistake of booking my reservation for the wrong dates and he worked with me to find a great room and even allowed me to check in early. 5 stars for courtesy and professionalism from the front desk.

Came to this hotel with my cousins for one of my of cousin’s bday. We had an amazing time. The front desk agent, Tamyra, was amazing. This is our second time staying here at this hotel. It definitely will not be the last. We love Houston and Doubletree!

As always, a great pleasure to continue returning to the same hotel when we are in Houston...we are appreciative for the ongoing assistance that the great team at the front desk offers to guests. We are always made to feel like we have come to a second home where there's a sense of belonging and comfort. Starting from Pinki that takes care in trying to find out and resolve any potential issues that we at times experience, Brittany, Lauren, Elneta, Kyron are outstanding in their relentless efforts to make guests feel welcome and Taylor from Valet always makes sure guests are consistently treated well with a smile! Leo from the Bar is outstanding as always where he goes above and beyond to satisfy guests who come to rely on his service - we can only hope that we get to see Leo more often as he is an asset to all. A big thanks to all of you guys for your wonderful service and we keep coming back to experience your warmth and hospitality including the awesome signature cookies specially made for the guests at the Double Tree Hilton Galleria! The hotel is in a good location. The rooms are old, with issues like burnt carpeting, crumbling ceiling tiles, and mattresses that are so old that they are very uncomfortable. But the rooms are clean despite this and the staff are friendly at check-in......but I found an additional charge to my credit card several weeks after my stay. I called and the hotel front desk admitted that they had charged the wrong room for a meal (first telling me I ordered food, but when I denied this they 'discovered' their error). Why this charge was placed several weeks after my stay....well that's a different, suspicious story. But the really offensive things was that despite their mistake, they told me I had to call back to speak to their accounting office to fix this issue. Of course, every time I call back there is no answer. Calling the 'national' customer service is of no help either. They just say, every time I call, that someone will get back to me. This is madness!!!! They will charge you money incorrectly, admit it, and then not return your money. All I can tell any future guest is don't be a future guest. However much money you may save over another hotel, however much better the location may be over another hotel, don't stay here. Instead, pay more for a different hotel that won't take your money later. Or stay at a hotel that has a worse location but won't take your money later. Shame on Doubletree. You've lost a customer forever. And I hope other potential customers learn from my experience and don't become your customer either.
