Beautiful and spacious units in well maintained property

Very nicely equipped condo like units. We had a one bedroom king which was very comfortable. The unit was spotless, had full sized washer and dryer, the kitchen was fully equipped though we did not cook. These look to have been condos when built, so they are really good sized. Two pools, one is for adults only, the location is great, a short drive or Uber / Lyft to the strip. Plenty of free parking within the gated property. I would stay here again.

We stayed in a one bedroom, king studio. The kids slept on the sofa pullout. It had a full kitchen, with every appliance and utensil we could want, plus bathroom, washing machine, dryer and balcony. The place was enormous, clean and lovely to stay in. Our room overlooked the pool which was very handy for our kids. There's an adults only pool and spa, and family pool and spa, which were great. When the doors of our room were shut we could hardly hear anything outside. AC worked well. I got bitten by some flying bugs when I left the door open, but it does have a bug screen. The front reception were very friendly on check in, and provided us a tea kettle when we asked. The complex has carparks under cover for all cars, and is behind locked gates after 5pm. Nice to be out of the strip in a quiet area. Albertsons supermarket just around the corner. 7/11 across the road.

My recent stay at Hilton Vacation Club Desert Retreat was not the relaxing experience I had hoped for. Despite my anticipation for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, I encountered several disappointing issues that significantly detracted from my overall satisfaction. 1. The supplied amenities were inadequate. 2. In the bathroom, presence of bugs scurrying about. ***** No room cleaning if stay less than 5 days. ***** Image that! 3. The noise from outside traffic, lack of sound insulation To make matters worse, when I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, Jelyn not only failed to address my concerns but also revoked my previously granted late check-out request without explanation. I read other's previous review, the owner Jelyn P replied with "Our apologies for the negative experience, this will be reviewed by our management team. If you have any other feedback, please feel free to contact us at the resort" or "Thank you for sharing your feedback, our goal is to make sure that we provide excellent customer service at all time. This will be reviewed and we hope to welcome you in the future." I do hope she means.

This is a converted apartment complex in a light industrial area away from anything of much of interest. The complex is made up of 20+ four unit two story buildings. We’re in a very nice spacious one bedroom apartment. The pluses are that it is a quiet complex with clean and spacious apartments. Great for visiting family and having a nice place to sleep and rest. There are two pools and a small gym. Tiny game room with a pool table and foosball table. That’s pretty much it. I’ve walked a couple blocks on Decatur on each direction and there’s a depressing strip mall to the right and a bunch of car repair/tire shops across the way. If you are expect a ‘Vegas Vacation’ of shopping and entertainment be prepared to drive. Other than visiting relatives I will not use my Hilton Timeshare points here anymore.
