Stayed here because I had some business taking place at McGill University which was walking distance from this hotel. It appears as if this hotel has been renovated, which is great. Front desk staff were very friendly and made sure that my stay here was comfortable from beginning to end. The room, especially the washroom, was very spacious. It's not everywhere you find a spacious washroom. Generally, the room was kept quite clean. However, sound does travel very well, as I quickly learned whcould hear what other guests were doing very easily. Several hockey teams were staying at this hotel while I was here, so as a result some players started getting a bit rowdy and noisy (not the hotel's fault at all though, this stuff unfortunately happens everywhere). My biggest issue with this hotel though was the elevators - not sure if one was broken or not, but they were absurdly slow. Despite there being three elevators, on some occasions, I had to wait nearly up to 10 minutes just to go down to the lobby from the 14th floor. Definitely something you don't want to deal with, especially if in a rush! Sometimes, I had to wait even longer because some cars were too full for me to board. But I do like how the elevators do not operate unless you present your room key on a scanner to unlock all the floors (except for the lobby, mezzanine and plaza floors). All in all though, overall this was a good stay and I would stay here again.

The Delta Hotel exceeded our expectations! We went to view the solar eclipse. The hotel went the extra mile to ensure that the guests (and their staff) had an exceptional experience. They decorated their viewing area with balloons, provided seating, a bar and a BBQ. There was even a DJ! The staff was excellent- friendly and professional. A resounding shout out to John K. , the Sr. Manager of Room Operations. He went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed and more! He made our visit amazing!

We've stayed at this hotel many times and it remains our favourite. The location is excellent, an easy walk to everything we want to see (the Old Town, the mountain, MMFA, etc.); the rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable; and the staff is really great. Special thanks to MJ and the front desk staff for making our latest stay extra-nice! We look forward to coming back soon.

Took family for a quick trip to Montreal and Quebec between Christmas and New Years. Location wise was very strategic; walking distance to most attractions in downtown Montreal. During the holiday season the traffic in the area was moderate and not heavy. Secured parking underneath the hotel w/ direct elevator access to the hotel. Nicely maintained club lounge on the top of the hotel. B'fast vouchers were also provided for Elite members. The only drawback is age of the hotel that is really showing. The hotel age faster than they can keep up. I would recommend to stay to 2-3 days w/ family but would prefer other locations for longer stays.
