We had a wonderful stay at lovely Hotel Dei Borgognoni - we have stayed here before & again another delightful time. The hotel is located in excellent location between Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna. The hotel front desk staff are polite, friendly, & helpful - especially Luca and Ahmed. The breakfast staff are friendly and kind - especially Paulo! Also Massimo was very kind and helpful. The hotel is decorated nicely with a large beautiful, relaxing sitting area - with sofas and tables, and always available cold water with lemons or herbs. There is also a very nice cozy bar. There is a quiet charming atmosphere in the sitting area and bar- not loud and chaotic. The breakfast is included and offers a wide selection of tasty items: eggs, sausage, cold cuts, breads & rolls, pastries & cakes, cereals, yogurts, fruits, some veggies, and oranges to make your own fresh-squeezed juice, teas, coffees - (cappucino is excellent!) Our room was nicely decorated & extremely comfortable & quiet, we were delighted to have our own private patio with table & chairs.The room was well appointed with fridge, coffee/tea maker, safe, large closet, large comfortable bed. It had excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious with nice toiletries, big towels, large tub with shower head. Bedroom & bathroom were spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff were friendly & extremely efficient. Thank you Hotel Dei Borgognoni & wonderful Staff for a truly fantastic 10 star stay! What is best about this hotel is the location. It is so close to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. There is plenty o high end shopping nearby and places to eat.There is a grocery store right next door and one a very short walk away. They have a small fridge and a good sized safe. It was a quiet room and they got us right in the morning after a long night of flying. The staff at the front desk was good except if you wanted to get change for 20 euro bills. They did not really want to break down into smaller denominations. Breakfast was very good. The room had complimentary amenities and not the tacky large ones hung up on the walls in the bathrooms like I am seeing many places. Ahmed and Jesse were great and were the top employees; most were friendly.

Enjoyed our stay here! Check in was swift and we were allowed in our room sooner than we should have been. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a little disappointing, not as glam as the photos showed and we were surprised to see the walls badly covered in fabric from floor to ceiling with a spongy padding underneath. Definitely NOT fireproof. Italian health & safety laws must be very different from the UK ones. Daily housekeeping was good though. Breakfast was excellent, a really good selection and the award of “Best Employee” in there goes to Alessandro which looked after us every morning. He was simply the best! Overall a good stay and we would return.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Rome. You are a short walk from some of the main sites, but the hotel is quiet which you will need after a day in the busy streets of Rome. The staff are amazing; couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was really good too, lots of choice and we had included in our stay - would recommend you do this too. Rooms were good, everything you need and a firm mattress which not every hotel does. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Rome next time.

The Hotel Dei Borgognoni is in a great location for all the main attractions, with the exception of Vatican City, which is still walkable but a little further from the hotel than Spanish steps, Trevi fountain etc. The main reason this hotel stands out from the rest is its staff. They are friendly, helpful & are very attentive. They really made our stay special. There is a small bar that stays open until midnight. Breakfast is served from 7am until 11am and is superb, they offer cooked items like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. There are also baked goods and cold meats if you prefer. Checkout is excellent as you have the room until noon without any extra charge. There is a supermarket right next door and a wonderful restaurant directly opposite the hotel, you really won’t be disappointed if you choose to dine there. The rooms are typically Italian, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom has all the important facilities you need for a comfortable stay; great shower, plenty of hot water, a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries if you need them. Dressing gowns and slippers are also supplied. There is a safe in the wardrobe should you need it. It is a classic Italian hotel with a friendly ambiance that ensures you will want to return.
