Better than the initial impression

Initial impressions weren’t good - reception looked very chaotic and like I was walking into a youth hostel (people everywhere sitting/lying in reception with all their stuff and a massive queue at the desks), lifts were under construction with padded sheets on the walls. I didn’t realise until afterwards that the reception is actually being renovated. However, the staff on the desk were efficient and helpful. The room was nice - spacious, clean, quiet (26th floor). Nice spacious bathroom. Average amenities in the room. Lots of charging stations in the room. Quick self check out process. Little shop in reception was handy and stocked lots of helpful snacks and bits. Really good location. Overall, perfectly good option for us for a 1 night Seattle stay.

Excellent, Exemplary, and Exceptional Customer Service

Wow! Wow! Wow! Exceptional customer service!!! The staff person, Raey, that greeted me at the front desk greeted me, and assisted me, in a manner that gave new meaning to "customer service"!!!! Raey's customer service was so magnificent, that I was compelled to talk to her manager before I left the check-in desk. I will paraphrase here what I said to her manager: "Customer service is very important to me, and when I have an experience that is EXCELLENT, EXCEPTIONAL, and EXCEMPLARY, I'm compelled to do more than just thank you to the individual that provided the customer service". The location of the hotel was great and my room was very nice. There was a refrigerator in my room. I don't recall all of the amenities in the room, but I do know that I had absolutely no complaints about the room. Considering the location, along with the quality of the hotel, the price was very right!!! All of the hotel staff were pleasant, but Raey was on another level with her customer service!!! If you're thinking about booking a reservation at this property, if the proximity is good as a rendezvous point, you won't be sorry if you pull the trigger on the "Submit" button!!! Before you check into the hotel, call ahead to see if Raey is on duty - you'll thank me!!!!

I was disappointed that I was not informed that they were doing construction of the main lobby before I stayed there. The room itself was fine, although I did find some trash from the previous person. I stayed here for a full week for business and wish I would have chosen the hotel a block away.I had some extremely loud neighbors a couple of the nights that I was there. And while checking in no one told me that the hotel restaurant had been relocated to a conference room right on the other side of the check-in, I didn't find this out until my last evening there otherwise I probably would have had dinner there more than once as their food was pretty good.

Joseph, the manager, has a great team of professionals. The hotel lobby and elevators were under construction, which made things noisy. But the front desk dealt with all issues cheerfully and efficiently. Raey was especially helpful. She solved my problems (some of which I figured out were my mistake.) The hotel is very nice, fairly well-located for whatever you're in town for. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was under construction but no prior warning. Staff at reception very disinterested and unhelpful. Manager told us with had a lovely view, room was overlooking the highways Old rooms with basic facilities, rough bedding, No lock on the bathroom. Parking costs $65.
