We had to change rooms because the television wasn't working properly . The second room the fridge wasn't working . No body came to repair it . The cleaner didn't make our room one day . The reception service was bad . We couldn't buy any stuff to put in the fridge so we had to eat out everyday and it costed a lot . I wouldn't go to this hotel again . It does not keep to the standard of a 4 star hotel and is not worth the price .

Very nice 4 **** hotel in Frankfurt. Located a few Tram stops from the Hauptbahnhof and stops right in front of the hotel. Very convenient. Tram continues right to the heart of the Frankfurt Christmas Markets. A 12 minute walk to the S-Bahn as well. It's also one tram stop to the S-Bahn too. We just liked the walk. Room was clean and the shower was nice. Nothing special about the room. Typical hotel room with the usual amenities. There is a gym, sauna/steamroom and an indoor pool. unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintainence.....Bummer. The location is very convenient to the airport. Only a few stops from the nearby S-Bahn. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 2 nights here one at the begining and one atvthe end of the week for flights Hotel is clean , staff are welcoming and freindly. Breakfast has a good choice but the bacon on both visits was rock hard like pork scratchings . Excellent on site parking with an indian and chinese resteraunts backing into the carpark . Only down side was no english channals on tv .

Worst Managed Hotel In The World

I've spent over 3000 nights traveling the world, and this is the worst-managed hotel I've seen in my life. It is clear they don't understand what hospitality is all about; the management team needs to go back and take hotel management 101. The day we checked in, we received an e-mail from the hotel that hot water and heat were not available at the hotel “temporarily unavailable.” Now, who in the world would stay in a hotel where there's no hot water? I certainly wouldn't do that. Upon checking in, we asked about this, and they said the issue had been corrected; what they did not say was that they had issues cooling the room to a comfortable temperature, which is just an outright poor reflection on the management team again pure revenue tactic. When we checked in, the hotel room was sweltering. We called down to the front desk and expressed our concerns. They said to set the thermostat to zero, which there was no 0 on the thermostat. Then we called 2-3 more times, and they said their maintenance department won't be available until Monday. We explained that the room was sweltering and not comfortable to sleep in. They offered no resolution! After receiving continuous poor service and a lack of response from the front desk, we decided to check out of this 3rd world hotel and move to the JW Marriott property. This is really where it becomes outrageous and a reflection of the lack of training and outright poor management of this property. When we went down to check out, they said you can't check out without paying for your entire 5 nights; we had 3 nights remaining. We explain AGAIN the issue about the temperature, NOW they said, oh we could move you to a different floor that has cooler rooms. Now, this is after we've complained 3-4 times and spent 2 nights in sauna conditions. Again, outrageous, it's just a poor reflection of a hotel that doesn't understand hospitality and should try running maybe a parking garage! The management team should be ashamed of themselves. This is the worst-run hotel in the world, YES, the world! At this point, we asked to speak to the GM and were advised that the GM is off the property and would not be back until Monday. We then asked who’s the MOD, and they said we don't have an MOD, so I said this hotel is being run with no manager and they said correct, it's only us at the front desk. At this point, they said you need to pay for your full five nights since you're canceling and checking out early. I said that is NOT correct, that the reservation clearly reflected if you were to leave early, an early departure fee of 124 euros would be paid. We don't think we should pay anything because we've repeatedly asked that they correct the temperature issue. Only after we said we were going to move down the street to the JW Marriott did they say, oh, we'll move your room. This is totally unacceptable. It was obvious that this situation was going nowhere fast, so at this point, I decided to call IHG guest relations. They were very helpful and totally understood the position and concerns we had. They called the hotel, but the hotel said they were too busy to discuss anything, the individual from IHG Guest Relations said. Well, there is a fax and via internal hotel system a message, and they need to check the message. They also indicated that if the Carlins did check out, they would only be required to pay the $124 euro charge, which is clearly stated in the reservation, and this would not be subject to a cancellation fee, which the hotel was trying to enforce. The IHG representative indicated that we would hear back from the hotel manager within 24 hours. Well, it's been two days, and we still haven't heard back from anybody. Again, this is an outright reflection poor of the property leadership and management of a hotel. We tried one final time to connect IHG Guest Relation with the front desk; of course, the poorly trained front desk staff stated they were too busy checking people out. The front desk stated again, the rule that if you leave, you have to pay for the full reservation. Again, the agent said from IHR on my cell phone speaker that's not correct. If they were going to leave early, it clearly says that they would be subject to paying an early departure fee of 124 dollars and only pay for the nights they stayed. He also indicated that with the poor service, we shouldn't be paying anything. I hope IHG does something. I understand this is not a company-owned property, but a franchise location. At this point, we decided that we were no longer going to fight this battle. And literally, it was a battle we were fighting. We've spent hours on this issue. We were still wasting valuable time at the hotel, so we decided we would pay and dispute the charge as advised by IHG Guest Relations representative. We concede to their strong arm and, rude and unprofessional tactics of the hotel staff. I would give this hotel an F minus rating, and again out of 3000 plus nights traveling the world and actually living in Sweden, I could say this is the worst-run hotel property in the world. Do not stay at this hotel. They need to go back to hotel management 101. Maybe they could send someone to Cornell University in Ithaca, NY for basic hotel management training.
