Copenhagen weekend visit.

This hotel is outside of city centre of Copenhagen, can easily catch Metro from airport as quite close and also into city only about five stops. The easiest way to get around if sightseeing would also be to buy Copenhagen card as this includes entry into places of interest and also your metro. Down load the app and use that way.Be aware there are ticket officers that hop on trains in uniform and plain clothes so always have a ticket. Especially coming and going to airport as that is where they make their money and are ruthless.Hotel is about 400 metre walk from station in a beach side suburb it was really pleasant. Had Lidl and restaurants as well. Room was so spacious very clean and had small kitchenette, we used the fridge and jug that was such a great bonus for us. Easy checkin and check out. Place is quiet.if you want to be in the thick of it and pay exorbitant prices and noisy then stay in city, didn’t bother us to catch metro in and out each day as it’s extremely quick.

Disappointing in every respect

We stayed here en route to Sweden. Rooms very basic, bathroom extraordinarily small and shambolic in most respects. Having arrived from a great apartment in Berlin at similar price this was very poor. Flies and breakfast was a train wreck.

The hotel itself is very conveniently located near by metro station. It is 5 minutes walk from the metro only 3 metro stops from the airport. The area itself is safe and nice and there are 2 big supermarkets around as well as a few restaurants. The staff was very helpful and polite . They will do thei best to assist you and . They even checked me in earlier since they had available room and I was upgraded to double room. It is a scandinavian 3 stars hotel, not a luxury property but it serves the purpose and it was comfortable enough to stay for 3 days. They need to work on hygiene. The room was clean just ok, however in the corridors there was a unpleasant smell all the time.

STAY AWAY! - Long but worth the read

Stay away from this place! Upon arriving in the car I thought, this can't be the place I saw in the pictures. This area looks like the ghetto, a bad part of town. You have to park literally right next to the building if there isn't one of the 7 parking spots available, and can only pay for that using an app. Then we couldn't even find the entrance. If you have luggage you have to carry it up stairs to check in or leave it in your car, which I wouldn't do unattended in that area. Other reviews about the attitude of the reception are 100% correct. They act like you are bothering or annoying them. Then they don't even tell you about the parking situation, you have to read a little sign on the desk that tells you the only way to pay is through an app on your phone and it's not their fault if you don't do it and something happens. Then you have to ask how to get your luggage inside without having to carry it up stairs. No information is just offered up from these unhelpful people at reception. Then we go up the tiny elevator to our floor and are immediately hit with a very strong toxic, noxious, gaseous smell. I was traveling with my 75 year old mother and was worried for her health. Then we go into the room and the beds are like cots you would find in a military tent; small and metal with a very thin mattress. There's no way we could survive three nights on them. The bedside tables (if you can call them that) are made of metal pieces and you can't even put a drink on them because they aren't flat or solid, so pointless. The walls are paper thin. We heard all sorts of banging and noises in the 15 minutes we stayed in the room. We quickly decided we weren't going to stay here and booked another hotel in central Copenhagen. Upon leaving we told reception about the terrible smell. My request for a refund was denied, of course. In summary, spend a little more money and stay in an actual hotel closer to Copenhagen city center. You won't regret it, but you WILL regret booking CPH Studio. Learn from my mistake!

Second WORST HOTEL in my life

1/5

Jon Pall H on Apr 05, 2024

Second WORST HOTEL in my life. The worst hotel that I have stayed at was in old communist Yugoslavia. Through my work and vacations, I spend around 120 nights at hotels per year, and I can honestly state that this hotel is the SECOND WORST HOTEL that I have been at. When we arrived, my wife waited for 20 minutes at the reception and no person came, finally she called the hotel and the receptionist came from a room downstairs. It is stated that there is free parking available, so that was my wife's first question. "where is the free parking" The answer was short. "Reed the sign at the parking area" and there were no free parking spaces. The hallway to the rooms was dirty and very unpleasant and calling it a modern design is a pure lie. The room was small and dirty. The bathroom had a shower almost directly over the toilet and the shower curtain had around 5 cm of pure dirt at the bottom. The glasses in the room were dirty and needed washing before usage. We went to the lobby to let the very unfriendly receptionist that we could not stay at the hotel. When we came to the reception, a young man was waiting there and had been waiting for almost half an hour, so my wife had to call again. The young man who had been waiting was asking for toilet paper, and that was a norm, as the toilet paper was behind a curtain in the reception. (perhaps they are scared that people steal toilet paper) We said we wanted to be refunded and did not want to stay at the hotel. The receptionist told us that we could have gotten a refund if we had booked directly at the hotel, and not through booking.com. She then offered another room, which we had a look at, is was a bit bigger, but smelled very bad. Smelled a bit like a backflow from the drains. In conclusion. Very bad hotel with an unpolite receptionist, who clearly wanted to stay in her room, rather than in the reception. We have since contacted Booking. com, stating why we did not stay at the hotel, and the reply was that the hotel was not willing to refund the prepayment, which is in contradiction to what the receptionist had told us
