We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Magnificent views of Himalayan range. Sunrise from the room, amicable staff. They could arrange for camp fire on request. Food is decent. Only con - room should have an electric kettle and tea coffee sachet.

Kausani Best Inn is a very average hotel near Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kausani. It is very easily accessible, and GPS coordinates are accurate. The hotel has similar category of rooms that offer bare minimum features. Pros: 1. Excellent location, well connected. 2. Anasakti Ashram is walking distance, Kausani tea estate is a 15 min drive. 3. Adequate and safe street side parking. 4. Untrained but extremely hardworking staff who are more than willing to take care of guests. With a smile. 5. The view of the Kumaon Himalayas from the hotel is absolutely stunning. Irrespective of the floor you are in. Cons: 1. The rooms are very bare. There is a damp musty smell. Linen is clean, however. 2. For the price point, atleast an electric kettle was expected. It wasn't available in room. The staff offers hot water on request. 3. The menu is limited. Taste is between good and average. Same rating for quantity. 4. Your quality of sleep will depend on your neighbors. On our second night, the room next was occupied by two very loud men who were drinking and talking very loudly late into the night. Privacy can be an issue. Conclusion: Average hotel, great location. Location is commensurate to price point, facilities in the hotel are not. There is definite room for improvement. Very good staff on duty.

The hotel is closer to the market. Its very quite place and offers a tempting view of the Himalayas. Toilet is big and clean. There is a balcony and a terrace, where you can relax. The staff was helpful and freshly cooked dinner and breakfast.

Good hotel at perfect location, just in front of Himalayan ranges. Hotel has decent amenities like 3 star but that can be compromised for view. We're lucky enough to see the ranges in early morning with beautiful valley view.

The staff at Hotel Best Inn was humble, however we saw in the morning all used dinner plates& cutleries, laying outside the small kitchen & we also saw Monkeys lottering around the area. The hygiene part of the hotel needs to be improved. The temporary dining area was shabby.
