This is a stylish modern hotel which, unfortunately, falls down on some of the basics. I initially booked a single standard room but then messaged the hotel to ask to upgrade to a double room. This gave rise to some communication misunderstandings, which were partially resolved; in the end I was put in a superior room with a good view of the harbour, even though I had said I didn't want to pay extra for this. My room was a reasonable size, very clean and had excellent soundproofing. The room temperature was good. The chairs in the room and the mattress on my bed were comfortable. However, the room did not have blackout curtains, so the sun came in soon after 5 am, waking me up some mornings. In addition, three of the four pillows provided were far too soft for side sleepers. The fourth was a very firm orthopaedic pillow with raised neck support, which works for some but not all side sleepers. The ensuite bathroom included a very large bath with a shower. The hotel is in a good location, about five minutes' walk from a local station, one stop from Copenhagen Central Station with trains every three or four minutes during the day. However, the entrance to the hotel is below ground level. To access the road and the station, it is necessary to climb a long, quite steep flight of steps. This is not generally much trouble but it becomes a serious problem when carrying a heavy suitcase, and I have been diagnosed with heart disease. Someone has added ramps to the steps, but they do not make the suitcase any less heavy, so, not surprisingly, no one was using them. A receptionist helpfully suggested using the lift in the big shopping centre next door; this saved me having to carry my case up the steps, but it added five minutes to my walk to the station when I was in a hurry. The staff were polite and helpful. There was a wide range of food available at breakfast. The restaurant overlooks the harbour; the evening meals were good, though very expensive. As the hotel does not provide the essentials for a good night's sleep, I would not stay here again.

Lovely hotel close to a train station which made travelling all around very easy. Also hilariously close to a huge ikea.
