There’s a reason why…

…this hotel has vacancies when all the others are booked. To begin with, the staff was great : courteous, friendly and helpful (that’s what boosted my rating up from 1 star). The hotel is not. It is low end: worn carpet, furniture and rooms (but the beds were comfortable) steel doors on the rooms….just low end. Paying $650 for a weekend stay here borders on outrageous but….it was one of the few with rooms available.

This hotel needs a major upgrade. The rooms are out of date. The free breakfast is worth skipping. We stayed two nights and housekeeping did not clean our room on Sunday night when we were checking out on Monday. The staff at the front desk were very nice. It's sad they are doing such a great job and corporate does not care enough to update the hotel.

Run down extremely dirty property. My room felt like a swamp and anything I touched was sticky. Dirty walls, floor, furniture and carpet. I discovered that a large portion of the carpet was wet near the AC unit. Called desk but no one answered (11 pm). Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Came down for Movement and would definitely stay here again. Very clean and good distance from the festival. The staff was also very kind and helpful. The driver Rich was excellent. He drove me and other guests to the festival and brought us back to the hotel.

This place is clean and affordable and the parking is free. I would have stayed at one of the luxury hotels in downtown Detroit but the noticed was so short like l needed a hotel room there right away for the night so it was like atleast $300+, plus the parking wasn’t free+ tax, all in all that would total to $500. So, l was glad to find this place, comfort inn which is only 1.7 mi from downtown… staffs are super nice and l was able to check in at 12nn but when they say check out is 11am, they’ll keep knocking on the door for you to really check out lol. Overall, everything went smooth and great.
