This is an excellent place to stay. It is located right next to the train station and a short walk to many of the sights. The standout amenity was the breakfast. It was the largest and best selection I’ve ever encountered. Honestly worth staying just for the breakfast! The sauna was great too, located next to the hotel’s pool in the basement.

David is such a great bartender. Taking time to talk while mixing drinks. Sharing experiences and also teaching how to drink certain drinks. Makes you want to try out new stuff! I'll definitely come back, also just to spend time in the bar. Must also admit I enjoy the dimming of the lights to raise the mood.

Very average accommodation. The hotel looks very nice and elegant from the outside but the rooms were too cold and the temperature could not be regulated in the room. Also, the staff was not able to adjust the temperature. The SPA area is a complete disaster. There were no bathrobes in our rooms and the changing room downstairs was extremely dirty. In the SPA area itself, there is one small pool (which is way too cold), two broken showers (one was broken and the other one was clogged such that the water flooded the whole area), the steam bath was not hot enough and the same for the sauna (even after turning it on and waiting for 10min). The breakfast was extensive but very crowded. I found it okay, but my partner complained about the quality. Perhaps less is sometimes more! At least the staff was very friendly and even offered us a room upgrade after having mentioned the temperature in the room.

Having stayed at the Clarion Hotel The Hub in March 2024, I can honestly say that the hotel was excellent and definitely worth considering if you intend to visit Oslo. A beautiful hotel designed and fitted to a high standard, was warm, welcoming and staffed with polite friendly individuals. Great rooms, fast lifts (our room was on 12th floor) lovely bar and amazing breakfast choice. Overall the hotel was the right choice and really made our stay in Oslo just perfect.
