This compares really favourably to other accommodation in Paris: OK, it's plain and simple, but the location, the space and the in-room amenities are great, and at a very competitive price. It's right in the heart of one of the buzziest areas of the city, a couple of minutes to two metro stations, on a surprisingly quiet street (well it is right next to the entrance to Montmartre Cemetry after all!) and with super-friendly staff. The square in Montmartre and Sacre Coeur are a short, pleasant stroll up the hill, and all the main tourist attractions on the Seine are a quick ride away on the metro. Seasoned travellers to Paris will always tell you that hotel rooms there are generally tiny, so to get one of this size and with a kitchenette added is a huge bonus. The fact that the myriad bars and restaurants close by are chock-full of Parisians as much as tourists must say something! Though Pigalle close by, for sure, still has its seedy side, we simply cannot agree with some reviewers that the area is unsafe now: it's simply "tres genial" and "super-cool". A highly enjoyable stay.

A very clean and spacious accommodation. Really useful area for self catering. Dishwasher was very handy. A spacious bathroom too. Really enjoyed having breakfast on our balcony. Nearby supermarket G20 only 5 minute walk and local boulangerie nearby, Great view from the 8th floor terrace area including the Sacré-Cœur and Eiffel Tower. Great location for visiting central Paris and only a short walk to the Moulin Rouge.

My husband and I spent 11 days in the hotel, both of us working in different spheres in Paris at the time. The location for my husband’s work was ideal and the idea to be in a small flat attractive so that I could have a home office, plus we could also easily visit with friends in the hotel. The hotel and flat is simple, rudimentary - not as charming as this picture. I doubt I would return. The good news: the bed is comfortable, the location for public transportation great, access to great food on Rue Lepic - unique. The rooftop view is to die for and fantastic to hang out on when warm. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful. To be improved: though the kitchen has lots of dishes, cutlery, etc, it also has a dishwasher, for example, but plates too large to fit. You can boil water, but there is nothing in which to make coffee; luckily I packed a french press. The bathroom is nice, but it takes at least 5 minutes to get water flowing at a relatively constant temperature, with the knob feeling perennially stuck. Mounted on the wall, the hairdryer is rather old - and when I dried my thicker hair, within 4 minutes the hair drying plastic head was so hot, it burned my hand. I bought a travel hair dryer instead. The lighting in the main room is meant for moody lighting; it is never bright in the evening, impossible to read at night, etc. The TV screens are not particularly large as is usual in hotels these days, and the stations are all French. The WiFi is good, though sometimes seems overloaded with too many streaming in the building or something. Our biggest surprise was that the room is cleaned once a week! But there are no cleaning materials in the flat, not even a broom. The guests can bring the garbage to the basement themselves. Breakfast could be a redeeming factor, but it is the poorest I have seen in a long time in a hotel. Scrambled eggs that don't taste like they were made from fresh eggs, the most limited meat & cheese offer. Luckily the surrounding area is replete with delicious boulangeries and fromageries-enjoy breakfast in your own room instead!

Excellent apart hotel. Very clean. 2 min to the Moulin Rouge. That's the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Montmartre,Moulin Rouge etc... The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities. The parking is very narrow and small. Better to be a good driver!

We really enjoyed staying at Citadine Montmartre. The staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English, but graciously responded to my limited French. We had a studio with a balcony, and really appreciated the balcony and extra space. The room had an adequately equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, and a good amount of storage space. A full breakfast buffet was offered for a fee. A coffee machine that offered lattés, capuccinos, etc. was availabe all day. The hotel was situated in Montmartre, an area that feels like old Paris. Many shops, cafés, and patisseries were available, and it was convenient to the metro. One of the positive and unique features of the appartment-hotel was the rooftop terrace. From the terrace I could see the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, and a good deal of the city. At night it was quite magical. The place has an elevator and washing machines and dryers in the basement. We were there during a heat wave. We were given a fan, but we greatly missed air conditioning, A few years earlier when I was visiting Paris, I had to deal with a heat wave. Given that heat waves are becoming more frequent, it would be good if Citadine invested in air conditioning. We were fortunate to have a corner room and cross ventilation. All in all, staying at Citadine Montmartre was a very positive experience.
