Near to Taipei main train station and easy to reach, nice to stay here and take a rest. Comfortable and clean environment make you feel relax. A good choice for backpacks care about CP value and won’t let you down. Good Budget Hostel near Taipei Main Station

Very nice hostel. Just a short walking distance from Taipei Main Station. The hostel is on the 7th floor of the Holiday KTV building, it's not that hard to find. Just keep an eye of a look of the surrounding areas. (Like the building is beside Family Mart) also just walk further inside the building. You will see the elevator there. . Near food convenience stores, street foods and shopping districts. Everything is around the area. . Bus stops very near and along Taipei Main Station. . Lobby was great. They have cold, hot and water to refill for coffee, cup noodles etc.,..Cool place to relax, work and eat . You can use the cup and eating utensils from the Kitchen. Just was your dishes though after you use. They provide dishwashing liquids and soaps . You can do laundry at the hostel . Toilet and SHower rooms are common/shared. Separate from Male and Female . Beds are nice and comfortable but the double room double deck bed that we are assigned has little space. . Overall, it was a good place to sleep and location highly recommended for you.

The location is great, situated 5 mins walk from Taipei main station, next door is a 24/7 FamilyMart. Cavemen hostel is on the 7th floor, sharing building with other residences and businesses. You will require access card to enter main door and room, in terms of security I think it is great. The common area to hang out is quite clean, you are only allow to eat in the common area, which is great. The toilet however is super tiny. Not much space , the cubicles are built very close contact, you don’t have much space to hang your toiletries and clothes towels etc. No bathroom slippers available, so you have to BYO slippers that you wear outside. I was sharing in a 8 pax dorm room, there is privacy once you draw the curtain. You may store your luggage in the designated cabinet right next to your bed. Again this is a small space, the cabinet act as a partition as well. In general, I don’t find it very clean because you wear your shoes from the outside all the way into the room, and even to the toilet because they don’t have in house slippers like how other Taiwan hostel operates. Laundry and kitchen area is available and clean. The staffs are friendly. My experience wasn’t a comfortable one during my stay in the room and using the toilet.

It was nice and quite big, comfortable and quiet place to stay near Taipei Main Station. Good facilities, nice stuff, and very convenient position close to touristic destinations. Big lounge area and so on.

The hostel is very clean and comfortable with all facilities you need for a short stay. They have a lounge with dining tables and a TV. Good instrumental music playing all the time and a shelf full of books and magazines. They have a tiny stock of snacks and drinks which you can purchase for the displayed cost. They provide a bedspread and pillow case which you put on the bed and pillow by yourself so you know that it is indeed a clean and fresh bed. The roommates are quiet too. You have to remove the bedspread and pillow case and put it in the laundry bags near the reception before you check-out. There is a common area with wash basins and hair dryers. They have showers and toilets separated for men and women on either side of the wash basins. They have a kitchenette and a fridge in the niche area before the handicapped toilet. I saw some cups, plates and bowls. There was also a microwave and grill for common use. The rates are a tad bit higher than the rest of hostels in the same area but if you keep checking online you might find a good rate equal to hostels in the same area. It is very close to McDonald's and there are a lot of eateries around the area. Subway is at a walk-able distance. You can find local Taiwanese breakfast places that open as early as 5:30 a.m.
