Stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. Food was homely but tasty. Non spicy and non oily but still tasty. Service given by Mr Parera ( mgr operation) and Mr Anurag was excellent. Even the service boys were very efficient and cheerful whole serving Resort is surrounded by trees with view of Kosi river at a distance. Room size was big and beds comfortable. Overall a good resort for people who want to relax and enjoy Nature. However, few clarifications :- - Road to this hotel (25 kms) is bumpy as its not a regular road - This is a forest resort, so no TV and mobile signal except Jio - since its all green and forest, lot many insects could be found. Although they are harmless. Plan trip in this resort after rains, to enjoy Nature at its peak.

It was my first trip ever with my parents. Everything was new including the car drive, the roads, the mountains, the monkeys and just everything 😊 The journey was full of adventure as we started from our Noida home & my father ditched the thick mist on NH 24. We crossed Ram Nagar to cruise towards Jim Corbett. We reached Jim Corbett main point only to explore that the location was still about 70 kms from there and into further deep jungle and mountains. It was already 4 pm in the evening and was getting hazier. Cerelac was something I was to feed upon during travel & it really tasted great since I was only at home food so far. My parents ate some delicious meals, which smelled like Chilly Chicken and Fried rice; only which I got to know recently from my mom 😊 The jungle was dense with trace of almost no one around other than a few monkeys straying at almost every turn with their little ones. Monkeys are commonly sighted at these places. As we moved ahead, we found a deadly land slide where a notice clearly called out that “the route is closed for all kinds of traveler’s including all vehicles”. Unsure, we should call it a bravery or silliness, but my dad drove ahead, silently, slowly and composedly through this patch. We reached the resort around 7 and there were guards to escort us to the property. It was a lush green place, full of tall trees and thick long plants all around. River Kosi went downstream right in front of us, giving life to the greens and to thousands of wild animals staying in the jungle. The Food was awesome as they called it out. My father categorically loved their fresh butter milk and chicken. They also served a lot of item which were kids friendly. Property Category: 4 Star Food: 4.5 Star Hospitality: 4 Star Child Friendly: 3 Star (due to it’s location, and dense forest around it) Couple Friendly: 4 Star Bathroom: 3.5 Star

I reviewed Call of the Wild in 2018 and said that we'd stayed 4 nights and wished that we could have stayed for longer. Well we've just returned from an 8 night stay. Once again we've had a great time. The location is gorgeous - lots of walks - with birds, butterflies and wildlife. There are villages and holy sites. Call of the wild has the best staff, including Harish and Deepak. It's not for everyone. There is no WIFI, the electricity is not always available and neither is hot water. But it is for us!

I went with my friend and we drove from Jaipur. It's totally secluded and the only place to stay on the entire mountain. Lots of places to track, rivers and obvious siting of panthers. It's totally away from the city and there's nothing in the neighbourhood apart from wild animals. The food is great and fast service. Their water heating system was not working in some rooms but we did not mind it as they arranged hot water buckets. It happens in Jungles!
