This hotel is being renovated, and it is noisy and dusty. They will offer you ear plugs for the noise. They were working on a room next door to mine. I would not suggest staying here until the renovations are completed. It was one of the most unpleasant stays I have had at the Marriott in a long time.

It was not possible for me to get though to the hotel to make a reservation. The on-line system did not not make the executive suite an option so I had to call to reserve. When I called, the recording told me I would have a 25 second wait. I was on hold wasting my time more than 24 minutes before I gave up.

I knew the hotel would start some work for renovation, but I was really impressed (in a bad way) on how old this hotel looks like. It seems they haven't done anything in decades. The room was OK, bathroom was terrible as you see in the pictures. The room next to us was loudy late night, at least we just stayed for one night. There are other options (better, newer and cheaper) around the area, I would suggest to browse around before choosing it. Front desk was fine, checkout was not properly done as I didn't receive my invoice and had to ask for it later

I stayed at this property twice during this trip. On the first stay I noticed that the hotel across the parking lot looked like a halfway house. I couldn't park in the back anyways because they were expecting construction, so I had to park in the front and walk a lot. Room was not very clean and never got club access. Thigs got worse on the second and last stay at this place. Bathtub was clogged, but the room was cleaner than last time. This time I parked in the back, and I witnessed three individuals walking from the suspicious hotel to this property and enter through an open door just before 7 PM on 25th. I mentioned that to a manger, and he started by dismissing my concern and said that suspicious hotel is guarded by the military and there is no way people can just walk across. Later, the manager admitted that they are aware of the situation, and he pretended to call the GM and talk about the issue while I was walking away. The next day I tried to get a hold of the GM, but the person in the front dismissed my concern saying that the hotel is a public space, and anyone can come in. I believe the staff and management need some training. This is my worst SPG stay.

This is my 3rd stay over the past 3 months. Staff is amazing, Bar/Restaurant has great vibe, great food! Super close to University at Buffalo! Rooms are extremely clean, outdoor/indoor pools are very fun with a swim canal connection! Don’t miss this gem!
