In terms of the staff, they were okay, the receptionist mostly. Upon arrival and throughout our stay there was no positive welcoming presence at all, no lights on in reception and hallways - dark and dinjy. The barman during the day was very limited in communication and spent the time for the hour we were in there constantly playing with the different TV channels on the different TVs in the bar. He also was in and out on his phone. It was a quiet period, granted, but we felt like an inconvenience, this from my perception. Just the odd positive gesture. I get the cost was not majorly expensive, but I would expect a 3 star hotel to be better well-look after and maintained, especially the rooms, and the so-called 'en-suite' I feel the promotional pictures absolutely falsely advertise the quality of the property, inside and out. The accommodation was awful, with the decoration uncared for. Again, for a 3 star hotel it was like going back to the 70's with extremely poor cleanliness. The 'en-suite' shower nozzle would not stay upright when showering, so had to get it maintained, which happened instantly which was good! However, do the cleaners and maintenance on duty not check off rooms when vacated to report problems and correct them, preventing any further concerns? The bed was like sleeping on a table, we all have different preferences, I get that, but this was in another category of uncomfortable. Electrical sockets - well, some worked and another I could not even plug into. The shower and sink tap temperature were awful, only offering a tepid temp after running for so long. The dust in the room on top of the 'flat roof' of the shanty 'put-you-up' 'ensuite' was awful, just no care at all! The smell in the room while breathing trying to sleep was a very musky smell that I took home with me, so did my clothes, lovely! Late reception staff - moody! We came back before midnight, but late only to be greeted by miserable looking male staff, one receptionist and the other probably a porter?? Honestly, if I had not asked them if they were okay they would have never have broken a smile - it was a look like 'what are you doing here!' The day receptionist lady was nice, but that was it. It would not surprise anyone reading this that myself and my daughter did not stay for breakfast. In summary, absolutely obvious there is no pride in the management of this accommodation whatsoever. They must see it as a 'cash cow' for 'tourists', especially no money evidently spent on it, and I would question the health & safety of the behind the scenes of what you see. You get what you pay for, I get it. But this, no way. I would have loved to have had a nose in all the rooms.... perhaps not. I would not recommend this to anyone, unless they worked to make this a 3 star, at least, and ensured vibrant hospitality. This had all the hallmarks of a back-packer gaff!

not very clean hotel at all when we arrived they told us we were in the basement the room was very small had no view through the window asked to be upgraded which we had to pay more money to be upgraded to another room room was still not very clean lampshades were dirty no Wi-Fi connection breakfast was very poor quality lukewarm they give it a 3;star and I would only give it a two star rating and that is being generous there's not 24-hour at the reception what can I say a very poor dirty hotel would never stay there again The pictures they give on the The internet does not give a good reflection of the place

Was travelling as a solo female traveler for a show. The check in, while quick, made me feel like I was taking the staff away from “more important things”. I stayed on the top floor and fortunately had an en suite, having to walk past the shared bathroom made me feel very ill, the smell was abysmal. When I got to my room, the door handle was extremely loose, so much so that it made me anxious to lock the door for fear of being trapped inside if the handle were to fall off. The room itself was so dirty that I resorted to sleeping on top of the bed, fully clothed. I was never without shoes in the room due to how dirty the carpet was. Before going to bed, I set the rather disgusting tea tray in front of the door due to my concerns around the lock. The room was so warm that night that I had extreme trouble sleeping. I know people say you get what you pay for, but as someone that has stayed in many hostels in London for significantly less than the £60 my night cost me, it doesn’t take an awful lot to keep me happy or at least content. Breakfast was included but I didn’t stay for it, opting for a meal deal from the Tesco express next door. The only upside to this place is how easy it is to leave it. Buses to Euston leave from a minute walk away.

The general appearance is pretty grim, and it was downhill all the way! 1) Walk into the room, Door handle and lock were loose. (Insecure) 2) Floor was dirty, bits of old tissue strewn around the floor skirting boards haven't seen a duster in years. 3) The electric socket just inside the door was smashed 4) The smell of nicotine was overwhelming despite it being non smoking 5) There was a mirror missing the brackets were left on the wall 6) Bedside lights didn't work at all and one was hanging off the wall 7) All of the surfaces were dirty, shelving, windowsills etc., 8) The bathroom was disgusting, we had to clean it before use, no plug in the sink, just a rusty hole. Shower internal door handle was broken, I was trapped in there as there was nothing to get hold of. In the end wiggled the door until it opened. 9) The curtains were dirty and had rings and hooks missing, so couldn't be closed. 10) The balcony had a broken chair and plastic cube meant for inside not out, so had soaked up a reasonable amount of rainwater. This was a gift for my partners birthday, memorable if not for the right reasons. We left a day early, they looked surprised when we told them.

2nd year of staying here while attending the nfl at Wembley and once again an amazing hotel. Any staff I dealt with were friendly. My room and hotel in general was exceptionally clean. will definitely be booking again for next year once dates have been released.
