Friendly hotel, rooms on the TINY side. Security is a big deal and they need a procedure to whom they give the keys to! Great location, 2 minutes away from the Metro. This hotel need some maintenance TLC.

Due to my job, I often travel to different countries. This hotel was beyond my expectations. After reading various reviews I took the wrong decision to book a room here for a week. First of all, the beds are really tiny. They can't accommodate 2 person without pushing each other and trying not to fall off. But I understand, it is a hotel in Paris, did not expected bigger rooms. On the other hand, we could hear the guest on the next room talking, their TV, their water running while taking a shower and even in the morning their phone alarm going off! Moreover, the room lighting is very poor. Just one weak lamp provided on the desk and two weak lights provided on the wall. One was not working by the time we arrived, but they fixed it the other day after mentioning it. However it was not enough and couldn't work or do online meetings. Lastly, I asked at the reception for an iron. The answer was" sorry they took them". When back to my room, waited for over 30 minutes, went down to see if they became available but still nothing. When I told him that is it unacceptable for a "3 stars" hotel to have just 2 irons (as he told me prior) he laughter into my face. That's not a proper costumer service any client would like to encounter. If you are still thinking of booking at this hotel, then I wish you good luck!

As the title mention it, it is really small. the room has a big bed, a small table, and a closet with a safe. A Modern Tv with a USB plug hanging on the wall. A small fridge has different sodas and juices and some chips for 3 euro each. The bathroom was clean and comfy, equipped with a shower cabin, hairdryer and provided 3 towels. the only thing is was not even one electric socket in there. the room itself also lack of sockets. We have visited the hotel in January, outside was about +8c but the room was cold for me. no heating radiator just an AC converter but that was able to make a pleasant temp. but the floor was cold, thank god the bed was high enough. It also was a bit dark, but clean and the bed was really comfortable! 3-star hotel but providing pillows in 3 different sizes and consistency, and branded shampoo and soaps. the breakfast is good and enough in a lovely mini restaurant. great selection of jams, honey, bakery products, cereals, cold cuts, French cheese and butter, and good coffee. The staff are English speakers, helpful and super friendly ! the 13. metro line (station Permity) is about 100m by walk. We came to an Exhibition which was held at the Paris Expocenter Port de Versailles, which is about 20 minutes from the hotel. 8 minutes walk to the tram station and the 3rd station is the Expocenter. If we are visiting Paris again, this Hotel will be ours again!

We spent New Year 2020 in Paris, with Hotel Atelier Montparnasse as our base. The hotel is set in a local town area in the South of Paris. We really liked the street - local cafes, restaurants, boulangerie etc - adorned with Christmas lights. A little shabby in places, but with a great local community feel. Walking into the hotel we were greeted with a lovely toasty-warm lounge (great fire), and an equally warm welcome from the reception staff. Our room was a superior double room - larger than the standard rooms and facing the street with lovely large opening windows and a juliette balcony. The room was spotlessly clean, as well as our bathroom. Both were warm, perfect during our winter stay. The bed was firm and comfortable - we both slept really well after a busy family Christmas. Extra bedding was in the cupboard if needed. Staff were all really friendly, helpful and very accommodating as we tried out our poor french on them. We even chanced a conversation about Brexit. Reception is staffed 24 hours per day. We did have breakfast in the hotel one morning but, like other reviewers, preferred to go down the road for a cafe breakfast, if only to get a feel of local culture and people. Metro workers were on strike during our stay. This did limit our travel around the city a little, but we still had a great stay over the three nights. A big "Thank you" to the management and staff at Atelier Montparnasse who made our stay over the New Year (and our engagement whilst in Paris) a wonderful time. Definitely recommend.
