My stay at the Ascott Jakarta was marked by excellent service and an unbeatable central location. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, a delightful start to our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, embodying the warm and welcoming Indonesian culture that is a signature of the Ascott’s hospitality. Furthermore, their responsiveness to service requests was excellent; for instance, we had an issue with the hot water in our room and they promptly attended to it, ensuring minimal inconvenience. The location is another highlight of the property. It is within walking distance of incredible shopping destinations such as Plaza Indonesia and Thamrin, among others, providing a great convenience for guests. However, there is room for improvement in terms of the hotel infrastructure. Given it's been around for a while, the property shows signs of ageing and could do with some rejuvenation. In particular, the towels in the rooms looked rather worn and dated. Nonetheless, these minor issues notwithstanding, my overall experience at Ascott Jakarta was very positive.

The location of the hotel is great, it's so convenient as just walking distance to many of the famous shopping malls which is nearby. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful as well, it's a nice great stay at Ascott Jakarta for me and my friends.

Chosen due to very near to Grand Indonesia mall. Rooms were well maintained except the pillows was very soft which make uncomfortable during the sleep. The setback was the breakfast, which does not change since our last stay. Will not take the breakfast option for the future stay. Also, the toilet ceiling leak during the rain as our room is located on the 19th floor.

We stayed from 9 Nov till 12 Nov at level 5. Not too sure if the hotel get the special request for our stay as we have requested for higher floor, and feather free room. We would credit our stay to the Bell Boy (outside the hotel lobby) that helped us with our luggage(s) and was always smile upon meeting any eye contact. Credit to our housekeeping Mas Andy (if not mistaken, level 5) for on prompt whenever there was a request. Our room got some issues with the Safe Deposit Box and it was attended promptly. The Engineer not only assisted us with the Safe Deposit Box, he also guided us with the Washer and Cooker Hood. He was good. We decided to have breakfast on 10 Nov, but there was nothing much on the food varieties. Our flight was on 12 Nov late afternoon, thus we have requested for late check out and this granted (thank you!), and when we went over to the front desk after 12pm, to activate the card, this was done. However the lady who did this, just handed over to us the card without looking at us and 'here you go'. Thus we could only rate the hotel as very good instead of excellent. We will definitely come and stay again at this hotel.
