Perfect for a trip to Rome. Very comfortable accommodation in a beautifully appointed hotel. Close to all public transport. If you like to walk, then it's only 25mn to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. Many restaurants close by including the dining experience of the Rome Central Market just 2mn away. We'll certainly be back - I threw a coin in the fountain!

We chose this hotel for convenience with easy acces to the metro & got a great deal with flights via BA. It was so much better than we expected. We had a large twin room with two almost double beds, a big bathroom with walk in shower, tea & coffee tray, lots of amenities and fluffy towels. We were on the front which was noisy on Sunday night but reasonable the other nights - we are both good sleepers. Buffet breakfast has plenty of choices in great quantity & the staff wil make cappucino or espresso on request. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area including two opposite the hotel. The whole area was well lit, busy and we never felt unsafe. Termini (train station) was amazing. The best was the food market we found after walking through the department store. Great produce, cooked food and waiters serving drinks! Tips - take Leonardo express from the airport €14 and 25mins; Metro tap & go €1.50 anywhere (just hold tight to your bag - plenty of light fingers about), splash out on a guided tour of the Vatican you get a great guide & miss nothing

This is a relaxed but very smart seafront hotel. High quality standard and excellent value for money. Our seafront room on 2nd floor was perfect. Everywhwere was very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff.Good food.Nice walks nearby .

We needed to be near the train station as we wanted to explore towns near Rome. Based on other reviews, we opted for the Ariston. Make sure you ask for an inside room if you are a light sleeper. Our room had a nice sized bedroom and bath with an additional sitting area. Quite a bonus we thought. The mattress was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. There was a tea pot, instant coffee and tea as well. Our reservation included a full breakfast. Servers were very attentive and there were great choices each morning. The area is eclectic at best. A small grocery store is just around the corner and there are some wonderful places to eat nearby. We didn't find the area scary at all in the early evenings but is definitely a bit "long in the tooth". Would we stay there again is always a good question - The answer is definitely yes.

Extremely well located hotel beside the main railway station, within a short walk to the Colosseum and Forum. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good with plenty of dietary options if you ask. The rooms themselves are comfortable but require decoration, so don't expect anything too luxurious. All in all a good base.
